no customer service. Called ahead to inquire on inventory was advised they had several of the items that I needed and upon arrival, they did not have them. Instead of trying to make the sale and accommodate the customer, I was asked to change what I needed to purchase to something that was more suitable to their inventory, specifically the gentleman named Paul. So disappointing.

We spent thousands of dollars on interior doors, baseboards, and overhang material. They messed up one door and neglected to expedite the process of getting us the right one. They dropped the ball at every turn and their representatives Sergio Bonilla and his manager Izzy Perdomo never apologized and were very slow in replying to our emails.This caused us additional expense because we had to pay extra in bringing an installer and painter back for one door.In addition we asked for a refund , credit or a return with a restocking fee on material that was not used at all and they refused because it was over 30 days.They have no regard for their customers and it seems like their attitude is that we should be glad they are doing business with us.We are still waiting on our door, going on five weeks since it was returned to them to fix it.We wanted to do business with a local small business but found out the hard way that we should stay away from some of them. With Home Depot and Lowes offering unlimited returns with no questions asked we should have known better.

Overall best hardware store in town, You can call and once you can figure out what the lady who is answering the phone is saying you then quickly get to talk to knowledgeable employees.

Worst customer service ever! This has happened to me throughout the years. I am a designer, and getting a quote is always a hustle. I am writing this review hoping they will improve the costumer service and the procedures to place orders!

I placed an order through a website affiliated with Shell Lumber. The price was what led me there and standard shipping was very quick. I received a shipment two days after placing the order, but it was not what I ordered. When I contacted customer service they were extremely helpful and corrected the mistake, and I had the new order exactly one week from when I originally placed it.I highly recommend them and will do future business with Shell because of the price, quick delivery, and superior customer service.

As a CEO contractor, I have high standards for the lumber and hardware products I use. That's why I was very impressed by Rodney Breto from Shell Lumber & Hardware. He is a sales professional who has a deep understanding of his industry. He took the time to understand my requirements and offered me the best options for my projects. He was also very respectful and courteous throughout the whole process. He delivered excellent results and exceeded my expectations. I will surely come back to him for my future needs. Rodney is a superb guide who I strongly recommend to anyone who needs lumber and hardware.

A great experience shopping at Shell! Daniel helped me, he not only pulled the wood from the shelves he helped me get it into my truck! I first shopped for wood at shell with my father in the 50’s. It was great then and now. Employees like Daniel are why.

Do not trust the section of the special order guys, I did an order last November from a seller that took the exact order as I requested, specially an air conditioning door V-07 (SPEC ORDER # 7086) that cost me $768.26, I was happy with my door, so I return to order another one because I have two ac units, but for my disgrace the seller was not longer there and another repulsive guy that seems nice at the beggining took my order, specifically I spoke to him abot the same full ventilation door for my second unit, he took the right measurements but no the door that I ordered, I trusted him so I did't read what he typed, when I received the door today (April 5, 2021) it was a regular door, when I called to the store, the seller told me that i did not order an ac door, so I asked him: So it means that I paid $768 for a regular really small doors for which I paid back in november half of that price? and he was really agressive with me, so I asked for the manager, and I gave him the firs order where I paid $8513.44, and he told me that I have never ordered an ac unit door, I got mad because this guy did not care about customer, I spent a lot of money there and I was treated like a garbage. So they stole $768.26. I don't know how this company employee guys like that, it is a real shame, they hate womens, that is the reazon why all those guys were talking bad about the only woman seller that took my order the first time that i was there and she did a great job. PLEASE SELL LUMBER MANAGEMENT, KEEP AN EYE ON THESE GUYS. THEY ARE LIARS

Home Depot has lots to learn from this business! I went to TeoHome Depot’s the day before and was a failure. I came here, a person helped me immediately, I got my pieces of wood cut to the exact measure needed and went home happy with the excellent and efficient service today

I ordered some Tate's Bakeshop Cookies from this company and am very disappointed with the price I paid.Yes, I know I probably should have been wary about ordering cookies from a Lumber and Hardware store, but I thought I was getting good deal.Unfortunately, I failed to pay attention to the package size I purchased as I was expecting to receive a normal size package of these cookies (i.e., 7-ounces), which is what my local Albertsons and Safeway stores sell.When I received my order, I found that it contained 3.5-ounce packages which have HALF the number of cookies that are in a normal 7- ounce packages (my bad for not paying attention to this detail).I paid Shell Lumber and Hardware $4.30 for each 3.5-ounce package (when shipping is included) which equates to $8.60 for a normal size 7-ounce package. The regular retail price for a 7-ounce size package of these cookies at my local supermarkets is $7.49. So, I ended up paying Shell Lumber and Hardware an extra $1.11 for the same number of cookies I could have purchased at full price locally.I blame myself for not paying enough attention to the package size when placing my order. If I had, I would not have purchased these over-priced cookies from Shell Lumber and Hardware.When trying to find out information about this company I noticed that they have a 1 rating from their local Better Business Bureau.I've leered my lesson and will never purchase anything from this company again.If anyone else plans on purchasing something from this company, please be sure to pay attention to all the details of your purchase before you buy so you don't end up regretting your purchase like me.

I ordered two lights online from PA. The photo sensor on one of the two lights wasn't working right. I contacted Shell, and they shipped me a whole new order! Above and beyond customer service!

Listed that once mail deliveries are diliverd, Shell is not responsible for items. That's OK but getting FedX track numbers 3 hrs before it's diliverd is not!!! There's a reason for track numbers so we can TRACK and be there on arrival or have it held for pick up. There was no tracking number sent to me the day before and had no idea it was even shipped. Long story short; I'm working 120 miles out of town and could have package held for later for pick up,TOOO LATE. Porch pirates got it before I could get back. Shell's profit they're mistake, my loss. Don't have time to deal with them over low value item. Update;Package was found at mini mart trash can and returned, added 2 stars for Shells response
