I strongly recommend against using Smooth Move Logistics. Several of my high-end pieces of furniture were damaged and the company used extremely dirty blankets to wrap them, leaving permanent stains on my white furniture. Even worse, they avoided taking responsibility despite over half of my items being damaged. Equally unprofessional, after I submitted payment, the owner, Mauricio, became nearly unresponsive to emails, texts and phone calls. Multiple follow-ups were required to get an answer regarding delivery timing and other matters. It quickly became clear that once payment was received, my business—and the care of my goods—were no longer of concern. Overall, I had a very negative and unpleasant experience and would not recommend this company to anyone who values their belongings.

If you value your possessions and expect reliable service and accountability, I would caution against using Smooth Move Logistics for your moving and storage needs.
Over the course of 2.5 years, my family entrusted them with our belongings, paying an exorbitant $800 per month for storage alone for items from a 3-bedroom house. This amounted to a staggering $24,000, not to mention the additional $8,000+ we spent on their moving services. For such a large investment, one would reasonably expect a level of care and responsibility that was sorely lacking.
Upon receiving our items from their storage facility, we discovered a number of damaged and missing items. Our large screen TV was irreparably destroyed and most importantly, a priceless $1,600 piece of antique furniture—a cherished family heirloom—was missing altogether.
In our phone and email exchanges, Mauricio claimed the missing item was not in their warehouse and effectively washed his hands of any responsibility. Mauricio's proposed resolution, a $250 check, did not come close to covering our losses. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, and spending $30,000 over 2.5 years, we have not received further communication in over three months.

We had lots of items missing once we received our shipment on the other end. All our boxes were accounted for, so it was definitely funny business going on at the time of packing. We had lots of unopened top-shelf alcohol missing, as well as other brand new, new in package designer goods missing. I am kicking myself for not standing at the door to mark down and inventory every box as it was taken out the door.

I highly recommend this company for moving services. The gave me the best quote between 4 different moving companies I reached out to. The team showed up at the exact hour scheduled with all the necessary tools and manpower and they moved my 2 bedrooms apt in 3 hours only. Nothing got lost or damaged. I have nothing but the best opinion on their service and would use them again no seconds thoughts at all.
