I've been a customer for over 20 years. As soon as the institution became ed fed, the perspective has changed to institution first members second. Money is constantly on hold and access to your money is unattainable when it's needed. Checks , canceled e- transactions, etc... Money is always in their side. Blatant lack of respect to the customer. Update: The institution continues to give the run around. The end result is they still haven't returned my hard earned money. Disgraceful. For your sake, do not do business with this institution.

My aunt highly favors the convenience of banking at this EdFed. Due to her advanced age, she never has to wait in a long and tiresome queue. EdFed allows seniors and disabled people a single line; very fast and efficient. Also, their ATM is safely located outside the main entrance. EdFed has always provided a secure and courteous banking experience.

If this is your only bank option fine. I have been a member over 25 years, I got my mom an account here. Biggest mistake, I provided them POA legal forms 2 weeks before her death. I was her beneficiary , our accounts were linked, I was on her will and trust, yet denied before she went to hospice. I was responsible for her bills and they denied forms because she couldn't come in while dieing!!! Conference calls , legal doc's didnt matter! So my moms last wishes of me paying her bills and funeral were all on me once they seized $ from my account and hers.. If you work for DCS and need a account to pay bills while alive. OKAY.. DONT DIE! As the bible says " A bird in the hand is better then two in the Busch" . BTW she only had $1,600 in account (so petty). Glad they didn't have anything else! I wouldn't trust them to hold my iPhone much less my money after this! Good thing I have 100's of lawyers at my disposal! TG I have documentation from them for everything. Once the dust settles I will sue them and report them every which way till then. AVOID them once you retire!

Took 40 mins to make a deposit in the drive thru. When I pulled up there were 5 cars in front of me. That is an average of 8 mins per customer. They have to improve their speed. Very very very slow!!! ?

This credit union is without a doubt, one of the best organizations to do business with a North Dade. We have been customers for many many many years. The service is amazing although it gets busy on paydays what else would you expect?

I've been with this bank for about 18 years. I truly feel like I'm in good hands with SFEFCU. Not only does it have a great reward system but the protection and care that they have had with my account grants me the peace I need. Thank you Austin Chicoy for your help today. It was a great reminder that my funds and information are always safe at SFEFCU.

It is a okay bank for minimal personal use. The offer alot of services within the establishment but limited online services. They added a second ATM in the front of the building which is a plus but if they both worked simultaneously then that's a bonus. I usually don't bank inside the line is always long.

Customer Service Over The Phone Sucks, Specifically In The Dispute Department. I Called And There Was A 30 Min. Wait. I Set My Number Up For A Call Back And I Never Received A Call Or Message (This Has Happened A Few Times With Their “Over The Phone Customer Service.”) I Ended Up Calling Them Back About An Hour Later When I Remembered, Only To Be Put Straight On Hold For 36Mins, Didn’t Even Offer The Call Back Option This Time. The Time Went From 36Mins To 45 Mins, That Is Ridiculous. What’s The Point Of The Call Back Option? If The Bank Doesn’t Call Back….

Both of theses gentlemen were very polite and professional...Alberto helped me with an issue that I had. He explained everything very well to me and I was very happy. I love this bank, they are there for the customer always.

I have been with this credit union for over 15 years and for the first time I am considering going to a different institution. Over the past 2 years or so the credit union has changed in other ways than the name. The services with this credit union are out of reach, the staff are not attentive and they are not professional anymore. I joined this credit union to get away from the big bank however they are acting like a big bank now. The rates are not the same, they don’t help members anymore and if you can wait an hour or longer to speak to someone they will not be pleasant.
