Not very busy this Monday. Place is quiet and clean. Ann was attentive and listened to my needs. Trimmed cuticule and cut ingrown nails. She is fast and precise, paying attention to detail. Will try again.

LEAVING 1 STAR BECAUSE I COULDNT LEAVE 0 . I CALLED TO GET A SOAK OFF SO I CAN HAVE A OVER LAY OVER MY NATURAL NAILS BECAUSE THEY WERE SO LONG . THE OLD LADY PUT MY HANDS IN THE SOAK OFF FOR 5 MINUTES THEN GRABBED ANOTHER ACRYLIC NAIL TO TRY AND RIP MY NAILS OFF I TOLD HER “YOUR RIPPING OFF ALL MY NAILS” SHE IGNORED ME WHEN SHE FINISHED I TOLD HER I DONT EVEN WANT TO DO MY NAILS HERE NO MORE PAID $15 FOR THE HORRIBLE WORK THAT SHE DID AND LEFT BEFORE I BEAT HER ASS.

Very nice staff. I got a short set and a pedicure, I enjoyed my experience. Its been three weeks since I visited. I do not live in the area or state but next time I visit, I will be looking for the staff at Star nails! Thank you for everything, I truly appreciate your services

Susie and Kim take care of me at Star nail. They are the best. She can always figure out a way to squeeze me in and nails are perfect every-time. Super friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended this nail salon!!

I have written a review for this salon within the last year, and I believe it got taken down? Not sure why. In any case, here is another. I stopped going there bc of the awful manicure I received. However, due to convenience of location, my mom continues to go there, although I advise her against it. She went in for a regular manicure and pedicure. She informed that the technician doing her manicure was going to grind the polish off. Mom informed the woman that it's not necessary and acetone will remove the polish since it's regular nail polish. The woman told my mom "let me do my job". In no world should a person providing a service ever give a customer attitude. It is uncalled for, unprofessional, and rude. Do not go to the salon. All of the reviews are terribly old (not sure why), and most are negative reviews. There are so many other salons that will provide the same, if not better service, and with more grace and class. Truly an awful salon. Mom will not be going back.

I went in to have acrylics removed and get a regular manicure. I have had acrylic overlays for a while and wanted to give my nails a chance to get strong. The lady who did my nails didn't soak them, she pulled out her tools and ripped each nail off. Not only did she remove a lot of my nails and leave them looking torn up and awful, it was also EXTREMELY painful. She proceeded to do a mani without giving my nails much additional attention at all- she didn't shape them and left several broken nails that she just painted over. My nails have never been in worse shape, and I will never return. The whole thing WAS cheap; you get what you pay for I guess.

If you want the best pedicure ever in Miami just go to Star Nails with Amy. SHE IS THE BEST, and the massage is fabulous. Great manicure too.I have tried others for pedicures, even more expensive salons and no one beats Amy, I always go back to her.For acrylics go with Kim, she is excellent. I think she is the owner.Services: Pedicure

I got there at 7:10 pm and that was a big mistake. I had to run out as soon as my nails were painted without them allowing me to let them dry and this is what they look like at 8:12 pm right now. $50 bucks later for a regular Mani/Pedi with tip and I already need to do them again. How sad.

The nail tech, Mei, cut BOTH my feet with a device that looks like a cheese grater. I should've stopped her when it happened the first time but it got even worse! As I bled, she couldn't even find a band-aid. She didn't apologize and tried to downplay the injury. Losing a piece of flesh from the bottom of my foot was not what I expected. Stay away from this place is my recommendation.
