About Steven and Dorothea Green Library
The Steven and Dorothea Green Library is an eight-story building that provides many study and collaboration spaces for the FIU community and visitors. The first floor features a full-service Starbucks, while the second floor serves as the main entry. Floors 2 through 7 offer various study areas, from quiet to conversation zones. The library is a good place to meet up, work on computers, or study, with several quiet floors available. It is open until 11 PM, making it convenient for late-night studying. The library welcomes current students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members, offering access to materials and services. While the space is praised for its view and friendly staff, some find the air conditioning too cold, which can be uncomfortable for extended visits. Overall, the Green Library is a valuable resource for learning and meeting others.
