I had a very uncomfortable experience at this TJ Maxx today and will not be returning. I asked an employee named Samai for assistance with an item locked behind the glass. As she retrieved the item, she said it would be sent to the front, which I understood. However, she then looked into my cart and took a $10 face serum that I had already picked up and said that item would also be sent to the front.
When I asked why, she told me it was because it didn’t have an alarm. I then pointed out that there were at least 50 of the exact same product still on the shelf without alarms. She rolled her eyes at me, ignored what I said, and walked away with my item anyway. Her behavior felt rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.
I asked another employee for a manager. The manager was careless and uninterested, offered a quick apology, and gave me a 10% discount that came out to about 50 cents, which felt insulting given the situation. When I asked for the employee’s name, the manager refused to give it to me, and I had to ask another employee to find out.
The entire interaction made me feel uncomfortable and unfairly targeted as a customer. This is not how anyone should be treated while shopping. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this store.

Not enough staff to help. Unfriendly staff. Staff by the jewelry very rude, this one lady working in particular on 8/16. I asked to look at a piece of jewelry and she looked at me, pointed to a customer and then another customer and didn’t say one word. Literally not one word. I’d rather go to another tjmax if any. No reason to be rude

The location in the riverside mall is normal . But for example, the location in southbeach is spectacular , and also, the one in Doral.

Only one out of 3 cashiers spoke English so the first 2 girls couldn't even assist me. The lady at the jewelry counter was rude. I'm not sure why the foreigners have terrible attitudes now.
