1 star only because there's no option for zero. Customer service is horrible. Definitely need to consider new management. Arrived at the store at 7:45p to pick up order, sales associate looked at me and did cut throat sign. I'm assuming that was her way of telling me they were close. Wouldn't even come to the door to explain. Online and store signs clearly states they close at 8p. I wouldn't be surprised if this location close down soon. Owner please consider new management because I love the company just bad representation.

Customer service is TERRIBLE! And the up keep of the store matches. Finally found jeans we wanted to buy only to find out that we couldn't buy them because they are supposed to be part of a 3 pack set.?

I have been a loyal customer of The Childrens Place for quite a few years. However, this has changed that significantly. I placed an order for uniforms for my children for back to school. I was excited that I was finally able to find some in stock, in their sizes. My order was to be delivered on Friday and school started Monday morning. I received a notice that my order was "delivered". I immediately opened my door and NOTHING was there. Right away I called The Childrens Place. They said that I, not them, needed to contact the courier that in fact THEY had chosen to make this delivery. This courier was LaserShip. Another disaster! I called LaserShip & told them what happened, that I am home and if they could send their delivery driver back to pick up my package from wherever they'd left it and bring it to the correct address. (Mind you, this was right away and still within a 5-10 min window that my item was marked as delivered). The man advised me that they cannot get in touch with the delivery driver but that they would open a case. A case which did nothing for me. At this time, to speak with a rep from LaserShip requires an easy 45-50 min. hold, per each call. I had to call them several times. With no resolution. They advised that they cannot locate my package & to see if the Children place will reissue my order. The Childrens place, which with each call is also a very lengthy wait time to speak with someone, says they see my items marked as "delivered" so it's out of their hands. And that there is nothing that they can do!!! This was said by their Customer Service rep as well as a supposed Manager of the company. So this means, you hire an incompetent service to deliver your merchandise, they can opt to deliver it to a dumpster if they like, and as long as it's marked delivered the customer is screwed and left with NO CLOTHES, that they paid for. How is this ok? I have expressed with BOTH companies (LaserShip & The Children's Place) that I have not received my order, that I paid for, yet nothing. That day when my order was marked as delivered I had to personally go searching my neighbors doors, during this pandemic mind you, just to see if I could spot my package so that my children had their uniforms Monday morning and again, nothing. Why am I doing the job of this courier? And why am I, the consumer who paid for my order, being forced to contact their chosen courier?? I would have opted for UPS! This way I have better odds and a better likelihood at receiving my purchase. Both LaserShip & The Childrens Place are garbage companies with the absolute worst customer service! Weeks later and still no one can locate my package and all that these incompetent, garbage companies can do is place the blame while making their consumers suffer as THEY drop the ball. This is beyond ridiculous at this point and I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with The Childrens Place most of all. This is how they treat loyal customers? At this point I honestly feel like this company is trying to steal from me. Just because someone decided to mark an order as delivered DOES NOT mean that it was. And I would not be wasting precious time out of my day, for many days, just sitting on hold had I actually received my order. This is just insane and the Childrens Place needs to make several improvements and correct this issue!

Worst customer service ever! Spent 20 min on hold hearing the associates just ring up customers while laughing and talking and then they just hang up the phone. Call again and spoke to Daisy who says when asked if she is a manager “ part of it“. Daisy doesn’t even apologize for the inconvenience I had with the first call of being on hold for 20 min. When asked if my online order was there Daisy responds with “ it should be”. What kind of manager is that? I would never place another order with them again!

I went there to exchange some shirts that I had bought online for my son, I was there at 9:55am (the store opens at 10am) they didn't open the doors until 10:15am, there was no smiles or greetings from the rep opening the door and when she was done opening both doors said "ok come in" super rude. Then when I asked another rep if I can exchange the shirts for a bigger size she said they only had medium out on the floor and she would have to go in the back to look for the size I needed but said she couldn't because there were too many boxes due to a recent shipment they had received. Rude again. Then I asked her if I can return the shirts in the store and if they can ship the sizes I needed to my house and she said yes. I was in line for 20 mins, only 1 person ahead of me because like I said I was the first one in the store and then the cashier tells me they don't do online orders, my only option was to return the items I. The store and buy them online but not at the discounted price I originally bout them for and for that I would have to call the customer service number, she then questioned the rep that said I could do that and that rep said "I never said you could do it here in the store". Again super rude and no apologies for the inconvenience. At this point I'm already irritated and told her to specify next time because it was all a waste of my time. Then I call online and I was on hold for another 30 mins and was told that they don't do online exchanges, that my only option was returning in store. Horrible service in store and online.

Terrible customer service. Tried returning an item that was new with tag also purchased with there credit card. They couldn't find the purchase on card. NO RESOLUTION. Customer svc and Corporate were worse. Terrible company card canceled. How bout that problem resolved.

Located inside the Southland Mall, Childrens place is probably the best option inside the mall for children's clothes. The outside looks really cool. Personally I don't see what the big deal is with their customer service, the service isn't stellar but it isn't horrible. When you're ready to purchase just let the sales person know and they will ring you up. I've been here a few times and don't think it's a 1 star store. There is a s*** load of very hip clothes in here for kids. Overall the store is very neat. The staff is always trying to rearrange the clothes so it can look presentable. I recommend this place if you're looking for a place to splurge on children's clothing.
