They organize FREE jam sessions and events every week. The facility is modern, clean, and uses state of the art equipment. The director Alexa is a warm and kind soul with a true passion for what she brings to our community. This place is such a gem!

t is with great pleasure that I extend this letter of appreciation to South Florida Percussion and, in particular, to its outstanding director, Alexa.
Alexa exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated leader and educator. She is not only informative and knowledgeable in her craft, but also remarkably patient with the students. Her guidance creates a supportive and inspiring environment where young musicians can thrive.
It is truly refreshing to witness someone who brings such passion and commitment to her work. Alexa’s enthusiasm, organizational skills, and tireless dedication ensure that students and families are always well-informed and prepared for upcoming events. She continuously goes above and beyond to keep everyone engaged and connected.
We are deeply grateful for the positive impact she has on the students and the community. South Florida Percussion is fortunate to have such an exceptional leader, and I highly recommend this program to anyone seeking both musical growth and a nurturing environment.

Great place to go play music or hear people play! The SFCPA is friendly to all ages and abilities, run by people who are passionate about music. Like they say, drumming is universal. The summer Thursday community jams are awesome as are the free Friday drum jams. We just attended a fantastic samba workshop this weekend and hope to attend some private lessons soon!
The space is clean and beautiful and the staff are kind and knowledgeable. There is ample parking. Coffee drinkers will be relieved to know there is an espresso bar and delicious baked goods available here as well!

This place is awesome! The free drum jam on Fridays was such a great experience to try drums as a first timer. Gabriel is a great instructor and takes his time to build the foundation skills. Highly recommended!

Great center for the So Flo community to learn how to drum! Brandon, the owner, and all the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Modern and nice location, with great equipment. This is a great place for anyone in the community to learn a percussion instrument

We attended the Friday Night Drumming with some friends and it was AMAZING! Are you looking for something fun to do on a Friday night from 7pm-9pm? No matter your musical experience (or lack thereof) it is open for everyone each week.The studio itself offers music lessons, a performance space, and much more to suit any needs you have. Brandon often presents at music education events/sessions—everyone can benefit from this musical and percussion focused experience!The facilitators from this organization are also frequently involved in community events with as varied venues as nursing homes, libraries, and temples. It’s great to see their community involvement all over South Florida!

Lots of thanks to Mr.Cruz and his team. My daughter had just four private lessons with him and was able to pass the Jazz Band audition. This institute is excellent for percussion.

I have been going there with my kid for about six month since he was 18 months and it has been great for him. He has fun and enjoy being there and playing.
