horrible service, Disgruntled manager

Okay so I rented from there at the end of August 2024. The morning shift people and the evening shift team are like night and day experiences literally. When I went in person in the morning they seemed/were annoyed. Also, like others have said I myself also had issues reaching ppl on the phone. They just wouldn't answer. Not sure if it was because they were busy or if they just dont like to. Ended up having to go in person to ask my question and even the manager was just not providing good service that day he was annoyeddddd. To the point that they told me to wait until it was the other shift which is pretty messed up. So they definitely need to work on teamwork in the mornings. And if they don't like working find another place to work at. For them I'd give them 1 star.
Now my experience with the afternoon/night team was much better. They just had better energy and seemed much more helpful. I was lucky to write down their names because of how helpful they were. Leila, Erica, and Isaiah helped me with extending the turn in time by an hour. They helped me rent the mats. The turn experiece was smooth they came and checked out the van super fast. Wayyyy better experience in the same day. Hopefully they're still there because it was such a good experience. For that I would give this place 5 stars. So thanks to those three for turning my experience around.

The staff was amazing. This was the cleanest location I ever been to. They had a huge stick on packing supplies and you are in and out. Excellent service!!!!

This was the best U-Haul experience that I have had! Highly recommend! The staff is the best part! Second part is the huge parking space and space to move around.
The staff was amazing, patient, uplifting energy and happy :) best part!
Erica, lady in reception, the male manager voice that helped me over phone, the male that helped me with choosing bubble wraps! They were just friendly, happy and kind people.
Even if they weren’t I wouldn’t be mad! Just so nice to see a great team spirit and people who don’t let work bring them down! Make the most of it ❤️ life is short

I called to ask about getitng a hitch for my car, I was immediatley incorrectly qutped a substaniatlly higher price than the standard even though I clearly said that I did not need to tow a boat and did not need electrical or lights. Once rectified the lady on the phone said that the total for the hitsch would be $159.95 for the part and $80 for the labor, a total that would add up to $256.74. Then she told me that the total was $272 when I said that did not add up unless they charge more taxes, she got frustrated, didn't want to answer why the $15 extra charge and hung up on me. then I called back and asked to speak to the manager, that person hung up on me. I called back and asked again to speak to the manager and that person said "sure" and put me on a long hold to them hang up on me. I have read the horrible reviews about this place. Beware of the poor customer service and skip this place. There are better options.

The staff here is Lazy, nobody want to work, you have to do everithing by yourself…. Even load and download trailers!!

This location has the friendliest team members!!!!! Quick service is an understatement...... 54st nw 7 ave in Miami Florida....... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RENTING YOUR U HAUL FROM THEM!!!! PERIOD!!!!! LOL
