Been coming here for almost 3 years. They seem to have some challenges that shouldn't ever be an issue. For example, there are no towels and often no paper towels.
The gym is often packed, and the ac is broken very often. I think at one point it was broken for 5 summer months. I recommend coming between 8 and 5 to avoid any rushes.
The equipment is OK and you can definitely get a solid workout with what they have.
The staff are great and they make it great, almost like a family feel. Katie and Evan are wonderful and always helpful. Coach Kevin and Yuni are very helpful and passionate.
Other than that, i recommend that the owners stop being cheap by finding solutions for the good of the gym. Keeping a gym clean is paramount for health. By not having basic paper towels and by not offering towels for members, this only increases bacteria and sickness, especially when the ac isn't working and the gym is a hot swamp.

I've been a member of UFC Gym since 2018, first at the Kendall location and now at the Midtown location. I initially drove to Kendall for MMA practice, drawn by their affordable prices and excellent facilities. Although I had to quit due to the unsustainable commute, I'm now thrilled to have a UFC Gym just 7 minutes walking from my home in Midtown. While it may not be as nice as the Kendall location, the Midtown gym offers great value for the price and meets my needs. I'm glad to have found a convenient and affordable option that fits my lifestyle.

FROM A 15 yr Fitness Pro: I have managed gyms and districts of gyms. We just moved to Edgewater here in Miami. And This Gym seems like it didn’t even belong here. Idk what the membership fee is, but if you pay $10 a month here it’s a robbery. I LITERALLY DID NOT WANT TO TOUCH ANYTHING. They were nearly out of paper towels. They had NO WATER for sale. THE STAFF IS NOT FIT! Again…a UFC GYM with no water lol. We had to go to another store to get water so we just bought the pre-workout there too instead of at the UFC as planned. A HORRIBLE REPRESENTATION OF UFC GYMS. THIS IS A DIRTY BLUE PLANET FITNESS.

I signed up last Summer and paid $285 upfront for two months or so. I had to cancel within a few days as I was not able to move to Miami from DC. The membership advisor had initially convinced me to freeze the membership in case I did move with a few weeks and I called back in a week to cancel as it was not feasible. They never gave me back my money and it’s been over a 1.5yrs now. Don’t join a gym that’s willing to steal your money for nothing. 🚨

Very unprofessional here at this location which who are the general manager and operational manager. They was very rude and I would not recommend no one go here. Along with the inconvenience most of all is the equipment is not working.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at UFC Gym Midtown. The unprofessionalism and lack of accountability from management are unacceptable. I have been overcharged for services that are not provided, and the recovery area is poorly maintained and unsanitary.
There is only one compression machine available for over 100 people, which is simply inadequate. Additionally, there is a clear inconsistency in staffing and rules, making it difficult to know what to expect. Management seems to side with rude staff instead of addressing concerns, and basic amenities like paper towels in the restrooms are often missing.
Overall, the gym's conditions and management practices are far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend this gym until significant improvements are made.

I cancelled my membership several months ago. They continued to charge me despite having personally visited them to make the cancellation. I’ve since disputed the excess months on my credit card and they are calling me for a balance due. They need to get their act together. Very disorganized.
Update: after several months and emailing the President of UFC corporate entity, they finally stopped billing me and accepted the disputes for excessive charges.
The manager of the gym, whose name I had all along, who I was told by several people didn’t exist, is the one who called me back apologizing and resolving everything.
