Went there for a Knights of Columbus gala. Nice venue off of South Bayshore across from Kennedy park. Short of restrooms. Gala was a good event.

Although this is a historical building, for their rental price, I think they should invest much more in keeping the building walls and furniture in better conditions!

We could not have had a better experience hosting our wedding ceremony and reception at the Villa! We fell in love with the venue as soon as we walked into the courtyard during our venue tour in 2022.The food from Bill Hansen was excellent as well. We received as many compliments from our guests about the quality of the passed hors d’oeuvres and entrees as we received about the beauty of the Villa.Beyond just the beautiful and magical setting and the incredible food, the venue staff provided impeccable service. Over our 18 months of planning, Gipsy and her teammate Christina regularly helped us over email, text messages and phone calls with whatever we needed. The Villa is truly a wedding venue like no other.

Small venue, very expensive, it has a nice feel for a small wedding but is way too much money. The couches were stained, uneven and dirty floor, the landscaping was not kept well, and the reception area is turf. If you want to waste money this is the place to go.

I was so excited to visit this venue as a 2024 bride but I was very disappointed. The pictures on Instagram were a DREAM but again... not like the pictures at all. The venue is obviously an old home that has been transformed into a venue... but I use the word transformer lightly. It was quite dirty, the space for dancing was in a hallway? The groom "suit" was a dingy room with a mirror on the floor. If you are looking for an antique unique place this is the spot but honestly not at all what it looks like on insta. The lady who showed us around though was AMAZING. She was truly wonderful and squeezed me in.

As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure to work at Villa Woodbine for my clients' weddings. I can honestly say my clients had an amazing experience at the venue. The location is perfect for couples looking for an elegant, garden, Spanish vibe. Every time I get to work at Villa Woodbine, I know is going to be good.

I had an amazing wedding at Villa Woodbine.5 stars to the event itself. But leading up to it was not ideal.Unfortunately, working with my event producer was really stressful, and felt like pricing was all smoke and mirrors. For example, I was pressured in to spending a few hundred dollars on changing the color of my cake, when I was previously told that changing the color was included in the original cost. Buyer beware if you are in any way cost conscious, you can easily get ripped off with made up costs if you’re not on the defensive. Additionally, my event producer was very slow to respond to emails, if she ever got back at all. This was another stressor with planning at this expensive venue. I expected more from reading about others experiences.Overall, the event was a great success but the planning was unnecessarily difficult.

Villa Woodbine affords a gorgeous intimate atmosphere. It's a perfect place for a smaller-sized wedding of under 100 guests.
