I’ve called the pharmacy a bunch of times today only to be placed on hold repeatedly and then hung up on.
The last few calls, instead of being hung up on, I was TRANSFERRED TO OTHER CUSTOMERS. Since I can’t speak with anyone at the store, here’s a Google review.

I never give any kind of reviews to anyone, but this had me going. This walgreens is super unprofessional. I had a prescription sent in for my son at 11pm at night and they didnt contact me to let me know that the insurance wasnt covering the medicine. I called at 5:30am and they never answered the phone. I went ahead and called at 6:30am and finally spoke to a gentlemen that told me that the reason I wasnt called was because when he has made phone call to patients at 11pm that the patients get mad. That is an unacceptable excuse! So the medicine after our conversation was ready in 15 minutes. Fast Forward to the pick up of the medicine. My son was in line for 45 minutes to get told by Claudio that he couldnt pay apple pay through the drive thru to go inside and pay. So he went inside and was going to pay and they told him he had to wait in line, which he had 7 people in front of him. Because I raised my son the right way, he wasnt disrespectful he walked away and left because he had to be at school. This is going up to upper management. Seems like Claudio has a bad rep on Google Reviews!

Today Santiago at the front register was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful!!!! My boyfriend says he' has helped him in the past also. 4 months ago Pharmacy technician Jeremy was very professional when I called in to ask questions. He was very professional and knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

Have been waiting over 45min (and counting) to pick up a prescription that is ready. There were only 3 people ahead of me (all pick ups)🤭 . Finally my turn came, gave him name, phone, and dob; walked like an injured tortoise away and hasn’t come back for over 5 minutes. Tried to add a pic of the very slow pharmacy employee but couldn’t figure out how to add it after the review was made. His name is Claudio and he needs a course on efficiency

The worst, everytime I need a refill my doctor has to send several time because pharmacy keeps saying that they are still reaching my doctor. Doctors office went as far as calling walgreens and they still don't have my medication. Every time I call I get put on hold for more than 30 minutes. I wish my insurance took other pharmacy because I never had this problem else where.

The worst attention I have received in the time I have been here in the USA was in that pharmacy, two employees, a blonde lady and another very inefficient man, even made disrespectful comments to me just for asking them for a favor, these things should not happen and if not They are working well, well, look for another job, but it is not our clients' fault that they are having a bad day... I will never go to that place again.

The worst pharmacy staff ever! They are either horribly under staffed or terribly lazy. Drive thru takes 20-30 minutes. They are bad, really, really bad. That might explain the overwhelming number of bad reviews. Management is oblivious or they just don't care.

I went to get a prescription last night that was sent by the doctor to this pharmacy. Once I got there they told me that it would take 5-7 days to send my prescription to another pharmacy cause my insurance wasn’t with Walgreens, and if I wanted the medicine I had to pay over $200 dollars. This was an antibiotics for my son’s ear infection.
This is unacceptable, they mislead people, and they are not professional ??

Awful staff and service. They walk past you throughout aisles as they desperately avoid eye contact to come off as unapproachable and are visibly bothered if you ask for assistance during your visit. Even when you try to leave the store as quick as possible you're treated as a nuisance.
Addionally I came across a very awkward interaction with an employee when I spoke to her in Spanish since I heard her speak to another worker in Spanish. She ignored me when I greeted her and asked about her day then tried to address me in broken english which was confusing since it obviously made the interaction more difficult for her. Again, never once making eye contact but had no problems treating the next person in line warmly and in Spanish. Not sure what that was about but it does come close to other forms of discrimination and racism I've been subjugated to here in Miami when the other person assumes I do not hold mastery over English because of what I look like or my parent's home country and tries to give me a difficult time.
Plus I'm pretty sure I only saw three people around the floor and the employees started to get agitated when the line grew quickly and they clearly didn't have enough people to fill all the roles in the store.

No wonder it has such a poor recommendation. The service is very slow. If you go to the pharmacy, pray that your Uber order doesn't arrive because they completely ignore you. A disaster
