Yesterday one of this company’s moving vans backed into my vehicle while parked at a four way stop sign in Homestead. Neither the driver nor the passenger were willing to provide me with any information. The only way I was able to ascertain the company was by the logos on their shirts. After asking if I was ok, I was offered $200. As my hood was crushed into accordion, both front lights cracked, washer fluid reservoir shattered and damage to both quarter panels, this didn’t seem sufficient. The guys also seemed anxious to depart the scene. As such, I called the police. When the police arrived, the 2 employees recanted their initial story and told the officer that I crashed into them. That I crashed into them!!! Please note, that their story changed only after speaking with management over the phone. Not only is this disappointing, but highly unscrupulous. Imagine what they will do to your belongings. Hire at your own risk, or better yet don’t hire at all. And if you are parked behind them at a stop sign, be careful.
