I had been waiting on two dispatched tow drivers from Payless towing for 5 hours, a woman alone on the side of the road getting dark 5+ hours from home. They were still an hour and a half away when we contacted McGhee towing who showed up within 30 minutes and got me where I needed to go. Great service, can't brag enough about how nice, quick, and compassionate Mr. McGhee was making sure everything was taken care of.”

“I have a 2000 Tahoe that the reverse went out at a boat ramp. Anyway! Jamie was my contact and the transmission overhaul was a success. It shifts like two sticks of butter sliding together. Great job to the mechanics. This is my very first time letting someone work on my vehicle. At 78 years old I have always done my own vehicle work. But I don’t want to any more. Thanks for the great transmission overall.
Update on the Tahoe after a couple weeks driving it. It started having an issue in drive a few days ago. Thought maybe the issue would go away but it didn’t. So Paul the automatic transmission mechanic took the Tahoe out to see for himself. Luckily it finally had the same issue I had. Paul instantly said “electric solenoid”. And he said even though it was replaced during the overhaul, electrical parts fail without notice sometimes. And my mechanic experience has shown me this as well as mechanical parts can fail instantly without notice. So! After listening to Paul talk about how transmissions work, his 50+ years experience I have confidence that Paul will git r dun.”
