“This place has cool and unusual items in it. There were some really interesting pieces made of cogwheels and different clock parts that were super neat. But my favorite part was the homemade soaps, the black cherry and wild elderberry were the best!”
“This shop has everything an entire family could want and at a very reasonable price. Plenty of options for my two 8yo's to choose from. They couldn't decide which of the two items they wanted to buy and the owner told them to just carry them both around while I shopped so that they had more time to decide. Most owners would try and convince a person to buy both but she was so good to them. I found some great souvenirs and even some cute clothes. Plenty of spices, sauces and cooking stuff for the man in your life as well as ice cream novelties (you HAVE to try the chocolate dipped frozen key lime pie), and adult (or kids) slushies. I have been in other boutique shops like this where they tend to frown on kids, but this one was super family friendly and top notch.”
“The owner of this shop may be the nicest person in the state of Florida. She's knowledgeable about her products, keeps a clean store and may be the best Karaoke singer in Mount Dora. You will love your experience at this shop. If I could give 6 stars, I would.”

“I visited Cozy Nest for the first time in January of this year. I do not live in Mt. Dora and was visiting the town with a friend. I purchased the cutest wooden, magnetic trains for my Grandson. It is all alphabets so you spell out their name and being magnetic stick together so cute. You can also purchase an engine and caboose. They are small & the perfect size for little ones to play with.I was able to give him the wooden, magnetic trains a few days ago and the caboose was missing one wheel. I didn't even notice it was missing.I called Cozy Nest and a very pleasant woman said she would let the owner know what happened and they would get back to me. I received a text message saying they would be sending me a new caboose and let them know when I receive it. I offered to pay for it or shipping and they said that was not necessary. What great and fast customer service. I will be shopping there again the next time I visit Mt. Dora.I recommend all who visit Mt. Dora to stop in to Cozy Nest and see all the beautiful and neat items they sell. You will be happy you did.Patti Raymond”

“Matamo Designs might be the most unique gift store in Mt Dora. They have one-of-a-kind gifts you can’t find anywhere else, and not the usually cheesy stuff. Going through this little downtown Mt Dora shop is like a little adventure, because you never know what you are going to find.”
“If you are looking for unique quality gifts this is your shop! I loved everything about this store! So cool! Staff was as friendly as could be and I think I even met the owner while shopping! Both were very informative and friendly!”
“Found the best pottery lantern that you can actually use all year, instead of just Halloween. Just added some orange lights. Thank you so much, we love it!! Very friendly business.”
“Great store! We purchased two of Sheldon's stained glass pieces while visiting from Germany. He took the time to carefully pack them to survive the return trip to Germany in our luggage, which they did. Very positive experience and will return for more pieces in the future.”
“This store is one of my favorites of Mt.Dora that I I have to visit every single time I am in town. I love how there is a variety of different things inside from the book nooks to the lovely trinkets. There’s an entire children’s area and the ? ugh the PLANTS ! I never knew a store could have so many things that I adored definitely a hidden gem that needs to be checked out when visiting Mount Dora.”
