“I can’t say enough wonderful things about our shopping experience with Kris Palmisano the most lovely manager of The Gatehouse Gift Gallery at the beautiful Historic Lakeside Inn Mount Dora Florida. From the moment you walk up thru the garden on that welcoming gorgeous front porch You feel transported back in time.??? The gallery and shop no different. We were greeted with a warm smile, and right away were mesmerized by all the one of a kind gifts and art pieces. Kris came over introduced herself, and gave us a history of the Gatehouse, and how it came to be. She was a wealth of knowledge, and I felt like we were receiving a private tour. I came home with so many one of a kind gifts for others, and of course my special gentleman gifted me with such an outstanding frame print by a local artist which I had said I loved the moment we walked thru the door. It is of the iconic front porch of the hotel where the restaurant has tables and serves breakfast lunch and dinners outside. Memories of many delicious meals there overlooking spectacular Lake Dora.? They have a little something there for everyone, and the prices are reasonable. So many perfect keepsakes, and she features different local artists monthly. Kris builds relationships, Takes a genuine interest in her guests, and that is a gift. We plan to go back there again and again. I highly recommend this Gallery and shop if you are looking for that special gift for yourself or another The service is outstanding, along with the selection. “Honest service. EXTRAORDINARY. My husband gave me this ring on our 15th anniversary which symbolized a new beginning in our marriage. 3 years ago I went to the place I purchased it for its annual checkup. They told me that all 5 diamonds were loose and I should not even wear it until I gave them $475 to secure them. In the box it went until we could see spending the extra cash. I picked up an imitation ring to function as my wedding ring. Recently we sensed it was time to get my ring back on my hand and thought it best to find a local private jeweler, The Gold Exchange downtown Mount Dora. When I went to pick it up today, I learned that it just needed a bit of tightening and polishing. The charge?? Here I had not enjoyed my beautiful symbol for 3 years. I was so overjoyed to see my beautiful ring on my finger I broke into tears. The fabulous lady who served us appreciated the meaning and joined me in celebration. We have found our new jeweler!”
