“I stopped by yesterday to get a paint sample. Only one employee in the store and me. Then two others showed up. The gentleman was great, trying to take of us all at the same time. He had my sample mixed up between the other two and then handed it to me free of charge. I didn’t expect it or ask for it and I never said anything about waiting, as the myself and the other two customers were just chatting.

“Sherwin Williams employees always go above and beyond and that is why I love their stores. They really make me feel like a valued customer, even though I am not one of their high-dollar contract clients. I am also a huge fan of Sherwin Williams products, but I particularly love their Sher-Wood KEM Aqua Plus System. It is only sold at their Commercial Stores. Unfortunately, I called all the local commercial stores to buy two gallons and they told me none were showing up in their systems. I placed an order with Mike at this store and expected to wait a week or more for their delivery to come in. I was overjoyed when Mike called the following day to let me know they were available to be picked up. It seems that he took it upon himself to contact local stores and somehow got a hold of two gallons for me. So I was able to continue with my project without having an extended wait. Service like this sets Sherwin Williams apart from their competition. Stop in today and you won't be disappointed.”

“Amazing store with an amazing staff. Go see Jason and Jim; they will take care of you! We researched exactly which paint would be best for our kitchen cabinet update. I'm somewhat of a blog/pinterest/rehab fanatic, and the latest buzz is around The Sherwin Williams Sher-Wood KEM Aqua Plus System. It is a high-end, high-quality paint, that is a favorite of many cabinet and furniture professionals. So we went to purchase it, expecting to pay $59 plus tax per gallon (we needed two gallons). Amazingly, Jason and Jim worked their magic to apply some sort of discount so the total for the two gallons was not the $120+ we were expecting to spend, but only $69 including tax!!! That was so unexpected and they went above and beyond in terms of taking care of the customer. We are now customers for life. We will be back soon and we'll also be spreading the word about this awesome store and its incredible staff! Thanks guys!

UPDATE 12/23/17: I had some paint tinted to match a new stone kitchen backsplash we are installing. At "human" glance it appeared to be off-white, but when Rod placed it in the machine, the computer calculated every single color of the stone and produced something with a pink hue. On closer examination, you could see the pinkish specks in the stone, but it was most certainly not what I was hoping for. Rod took the time to attempt to lighten the paint and calculate how to get the pinkish hue out. When I pointed to a color on the colorwheel that would more closely resemble the result I was aiming for, he simply mixed up a fresh can and gave me the new can with that exact color. He really took care of me, even though it was me who brought in the color to be matched, and ultimately, my fault for the pink result. In any case, I really appreciate him for going above and beyond, and once again, I encourage everyone to check this store out for themselves. There are amazing folks there.”

“Craig was a great help with my latest paint project, and my questions, helping me with selection of product/tools and a small issue I was having with a wall with two different finishes on it. I do my own painting, but am far from an expert and I greatly appreciated it as well as his friendly attitude. This is my go to place for any of my painting projects. Problem is it’s for walls versus furniture and the employee was shown the project when she went in .

So thankful for Christopher helping me today explaining how to apply a sealer without messing anything up .

I will now ONLY Have Chris help me or my client when coming to choosing the correct paint products to refurbish furniture from this point on at this Sherwin Williams Store!

“First time in this store, usually go to the commercial store on Northbrook, very nice store, clean, well organized. The staff very helpful,got in & out in less than 10 min!! I will be back, even though it is a little far.”

“I own a few properties i need to maintain in 2 states, and as such have used 5 or 6 SW locations regularly. I have always had great service here at this location. Great helpful and pleasant to work with staff.

BTW... if it is a propertty that you care about, Sherwin Williams products are far superior to the big box store brands. No, SW is not the cheapest, but it is far better to do the job right once, than be doing again in 2 or 3 years. Also... do join thier perks reward program. This will bring the prices very competitive for a far superior product. That combined with SW very frequently has sales exclusive to the perks members. If you are a perks member and hit a sale, then price is not even a factor. And again, thier perks member sales are very frequent, as in almost every time I go there there is a perks member sale going on.

Also, one of my visits they had a golden retriever pup as a temp mascot they were puppy sitting for a while.. Hey... how can you beat that for a national chain with a family owned feel.”
