“I have my mailbox here at the UPS store and I have been coming here for about 35 years. I've seen restaurants come and go and they've always been really good. I believe that the pandemic took out a couple of those restaurants but now there's new restaurants. One of which I believe is a sushi and Thai and we are looking forward to visiting them. “Wonderful food! We had the curried goat and the oxtails, both were super flavorful. The goat had quite a bit of heat, which was fine for us. Both meats were hacked so there are small bones throughout to watch for. This is typical for island fare. Both meals came with rice and beans, which were the best I ever had. They also came with a slaw and plantains, which were both great. It was a very nice meal to go, since even if you eat there, it's served from styrofoam.”

The Nail center there is the best and the two (2) restaurants ,one Italian and one Mexican they are worth visiting.The place is totally changed now, a gym is now there and a pizzeria and Aldi supermarket. “The Mercado is the hot spot in town now. There are lots of restaurants, a movie theatre and lots of shops. After dark the nightclubs come alive. A great place to people watch. They set up a stage and have bands play at least once a month.On the third Sunday of every month they have a great car show from 9 to 11am. In season there are so many show cars it takes several hours to just take a look at all of them. Even in Summer there are at least 100 or more cars. No charge of course. mercato is such a wonderful place.”
