They were kind enough to check my battery and offered to test it so I wouldn’t run into this issue again. “I went to Walmart in port Charlotte to get tires put on they told me they had the tires in stock and set up a date. I got there and they told me they didn’t actually and would have to order them and they would be in the next week. This happened to my boyfriend 2 months before hand. So I decided to go somewhere else. White’s diesel was able to get the tires in before the estimated delivery date. They got them on quickly too. I was in and out. Friendly and reliable service. We were blown away by the techniques and the skill displayed by everyone involved. “5 stars to Dave at Nokomis Auto Repair (and his dog Beau!). My van alternator died, leaving me stranded 2 hours away from home. I called Dave to see if he could replace it for me, and, hearing my situation, he agreed. He was fully booked with jobs for other clients but rearranged things to fit me in immediately, even though it meant he had to work past closing time. Instead of having me wait the 3 hours it took for him to do the work, he gave me a ride to a restaurant on the bay where I could hang out until he was done. When he finished, he phoned me and came to pick me up. I was so touched by his kindness and by the quality of his work. He works on his own, so Nokomis Auto Center is a one-man show. It is heart-warming to receive this client-centered service and to support a local business like Dave’s Nokomis Auto Center. I recommend him highly!”
