“My second favorite local thrift store. Huge selection and I really like the warehouse feel, but the prices are a bit high. I’ve seen things priced for more than you can get them online. The prices are not outrageous but they are higher than most thrift stores and sometimes the prices seem just arbitrary. Overall, I like this store and the people that work here are very friendly.”

“This is one of the smaller community retail and donation center location. Although it's not one of the larger locations in the services chain, this location North of Venice in Nokomis, along Rte 41 North. A donation area and retail sales store are on site. Clothing, linens, household decor, appliances, electronics are the majority of the items available. A small selection of literature is in store, as well as smaller home furnishings. Household and kitchen items are available and a smaller display case for jewelry and a collection valuables can be found adjacent to the cashier's counter. The smaller businesses location still maintains an assortment of merchandise, even when limiting the size of the merchandise. Customers can always find the unexpected items, while finding women's, men's and children's apparel. The constant rotation of donations keep the ever changing selection available for new arrivals. It's proximity to south Sarasota offers a better local footprint.”

“Great selection of books by category. Florida section, pop-up book shelf, and graphic novels as well as kids and young adult books in their own sections. They even have comfy chairs to peruse.”

“We had a very large buffet/condole that fit perfectly in the space but the color wasn’t good for our new house. Diane changed it from charcoal grey to Yankee blue and it turned out perfect. She communicated great on timing and schedule, was quick to respond, and always on time throughout refinishing it. Photos to come later but it turned out beautiful!”

“I've only shopped here for the past year and I've had no problems with these guys. I am electronically challenged and both the phones I've brought in were reset in no time at all, I've purchased a great leather backpack from the two nicknack tables as you entered the establishment..... Oh yeah, Thanks guys for the help and back.... ?✌️?”

“The people, prices and purchases are what keep us going back to check Habitat ReStore before going to any other home improvement store although we have also found household furniture, decor, clothes and shoes, DVDs and craft supplies, and even toys and toiletries at this location!

It is a joy to see our friends Mark and Maura and Sue and Grant and Paul and José and Seth...they are truly some of the best! ?”

“Just found this place today and it felt like walking into a treasure trove. One of the best little thrift stores in the area, and the staff is super nice. Highly recommend checking it out”

“I have shopped here for 10 years, and I have witnessed the many evolutions this store has gone through. Changes in management, store layout, you name it!

Currently, their team of volunteers is WONDERFUL! Very kind people who are open to conversation and happy to help.

This store is now on a biweekly color tag system where each week one color is 50% off and one color 75% off! I love this change! It will keep the inventory rotating, and will have me checking back more often :)

These photos are from various trips over the last year or so with some of the great finds in store. The thrill of the hunt is here! You’ll never know what you’ll find until you stop by :)”

“Let me start by mentioning is is one of Goodwill's smaller retail stores which might be appealing to those who don't enjoy the larger stores. I personally love them all! That being said, this visit revealed a neat & tidy store. The employees were busy with their tasks but attentive to the front desk when needed. Pleasant & accommodating. They helped a lady get some items that had just arrived that she wanted to purchace. Mad her happy...she was collecting all the plastic bins! Also, the prices were very reasonable! Check it out!”

“Todd and Josh picked up my big heavy China cabinet. They were prompt, courteous and careful. Would highly recommend. It’s hard to find places to pick up big items. Glad that the money goes to the animals!”

“Finally got around to checking this place out. We were greeted by a worker and some wonderful AC. Store is organized and clean, and I managed to score 3 tops and a pair of leather sandals for $12. Not sure if they were having a sale, but the same amount of stuff at goodwill would have been at least $30.”

“This store is very well organized and clean. Friendly staff! But the real reason I am posting this review, is because I had called the store one day to see if they carried an item. Melissa answered the phone and I had asked if they had the item there. She wasn’t sure and placed me on hold. When returning to the phone, she said they did not carry the item and suggested that I might try another store that would carry what I had asked for.
The item was not the usual thing you would see or find at a Goodwill Store, it was a shot in the dark and thought I’d call before I went. Melissa has the customer service skills that most stores lack, basic customer service! True gem! Thank you Melissa for saving me some time today, which I don’t have much of these day!
Happy Customer! ?”
