First time here and my experience was great. Jackie was very sweet professional and clean. She explained all she was doing. Once my keratin and blow dry was done.I was a new woman. I recommend please understand language barrier you may think she's rude but they are all really sweet. I'm going back,Jackie is my new hairdresser.

I called to ask when can I come in to relax my hair after using a powdered permanent hair color. A stylist said that she was going to call me back but its been 2 weeks & no 1 contacted me.

Best salon I’ve ever been to. Jackie herself is the sweetest !! Doesn’t rush when it comes to my hair, she makes sure I’m satisfied before I leave her chair.

Jackie is amazing! Been coming here for about 5years now & I dont think I can trust any other stylist to touch my hair or my daughters hair but Jackie. Hair always turns out shiny bouncy & well taken care of.

I want to start off by saying I was insulted by the type of hair I have..I looked in the mirror at the way she was looking at my hair which had me feeling uneasy..I wouldn't recommend this place to another African American with coiled hair at all. First off if your natural and have Afro hair a wash and blowout starts at $50 and up. Let's just say...I took one for the team guys . I left with a horrible headache from the pain of my hair getting pulled. Hours later and my head is still hurting..I can tell from the beginning that this wasn't for me or my hair but I was feeling optimistic. The shampoo and wash was great..but afterwards it went downhill..the blow drying process was way to aggressive and all of the hair fallout was extremely avoidable...my hair is cut unevenly, needless to say this is a hard NO for me...I will be searching for a salon that better caters to coiled textured hair...this wasn't it...not happy or satisfied..just super disappointed. Over charged, hair cute unevenly, and constantly insulted. She even said she's gonna stop doing my type of hair because it's become damaging to her wrist. Lastly I'm right handed...the way she flat ironed my hair looks like I did it with my left hand in the dark...I really wish they had a zero stars option.

This salon came highly recommended to me. I made a phone call to make an appointment and the owner agreed to see my daughter the next day. The appointment was made for a wash and a detangle. When I arrived there, I was greeted by Jackie and told her we had an appointment. I was told that she didn't have time to wash and detangle my daughter's natural 4b hair because she had "regular clients". She was extremely rude, kept sighing and all of a sudden agreed to do it. The entire time she was washing my hair, she kept saying that "pelo malo" (naturally course hair) should be straightened and would look better relaxed. She kept indicating that mixed hair bothers her and that I should just let my daughter relax her hair. When I told her that I wasn't interested, she kept washing and detangling my daughter's hair very roughly to the point my daughter started to cry and asked to leave. She told me the wash and go would be $30 and hiked up the price to $50 when we were ready to leave. Jackie is extremely rude, does not provide any sense of customer service and comes across very racist. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting her so called place of business.

I have to completely disagree with the last gentlemans review. After many years of going there I have never had an issue with my hair or the service. She is an extremely nice and sweet person and always makes good recommendations on hair style and cut as a great hairstylist should. I have never been dissatisfied when walking out of her salon, she does an amazing job and I would recommend her in a heart beat.
