“Very honest and professional people working here! I’m a young female and when dealing with items that I don’t know much about, I’m always a bit wary of getting “hoed” at pawn shops. This was the case yesterday when I went into Loan Star with a small amount of vintage gold jewelry. Before I even remembered to ask, the woman helping me (I wish I had asked her name, she was great) said she was going to test the stones on a couple of my items to see if they were real diamonds. It turns out they were! I probably wouldn’t have even known had she not offered to check, and she likely knew this but still checked anyways and it absolutely made my day. She even said that I could bring in some of the stuff I assumed to be costume just to check and make sure. Thank you Loan Star! I will be returning.”
