Cox is the worst!! And the only reason I still have it is that I don't have a choice. It's the only internet in my area. I work from home and all they do is come out and cut the wires to fix god knows what. Like why can't you come at a later time or early in the morning? I'm tired of having to make up my hours on the weekends because of Cox. Like I deserve to have my days off too. I don't want to work on my days off but Cox has other plans for my damn life.

Service always out and they are horrible at fixing it. My kids need internet to do homework and they can’t do that when we have no internet. Had multiple techs out to the house and the last one stated that the problem isn’t our house but at their end. Why am I paying so much for crappy services

I called to request an internet service Today, October 22, 2024 at approximately 12:20 pm and a girl helped me and bullied my voice since I have a problem with my vocal cords, unfortunately we started badly, If there is no Respect, No There is nothing, that is why society is lost, full of people without education, sympathy or values... for this reason I will not hire any service. Currently down. All customers in the dark about restoral as Cox doesn't communicate to customers need. Even the recording hangs up on you. The.Worst.. update they are minus 20 stars after 2nd FCC complaint in a week.

IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION THAN COX, TAKE IT. when I went in to get only internet service I was given a choice between 3 options, I chose the less expensive because I only need wifi for one TV. So they said it would be $50 a month. Ok no problem. I get the bill and it's over $80 a month. OK so they could have told me they were charging me separately for service and equipment every month..I feel like I was lied to. After accepting this and taking it for what it is..I now how constant issues with outages and internet service that goes out atleast once a week or more. Actually right now my internet is currently not working and it will be around noon or later when it will be back on ( that's what the app says)
It's awful service and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

As usual our service is out. My daughter stopped by to find out how long we would be without service. The employee was dismissive and unhelpful only stating that noone was even assigned to the outage in our area yet. How is the power company able to reconnect service after a storm in hrs, yet constant internet outages take days to resolve. Outdated, poorly maintained infrastructure and they know they're the only option. It really shows in their service.

Cox is by far the worst internet provider and cable company I've ever had service with, in 14 months of service the Internet has gone out at least 15 times and it's taken them between 1 to 2 days to fix the issues, they charge a lot for crappy service, there isn't any customer service period, unfortunately for our vicinity we don't have any options except getting service from a cellular phone company by satellite which I'm going to do because Cox is horrible.

Awful service, RUDE customer support! Company STEALING money, CREATING cases themselves and BLAME customers, sending random accounts to debt collection agency. Avoid dealing with them AT ANY CASE!

Worst service!!
I am extremely dissatisfied with the internet service provided in the SE side of Ocala. The internet has gone down three times this month(Feb) alone, and it typically takes 4 to 8 hours to restore the connection. This is a major inconvenience for people who work from home or have important Zoom meetings. I strongly advise against taking their services.
They increased my monthly bill from $110 to $150 ?

This is the worst company ever. I unfortunately don’t have another option on my development and have to stay with the biggest garbage ever.
Recently added cable as the streaming was not as good as it was. Got the basic since I hate this company so much.
1st they gave me the wrong cable boxes. 2nd to get the assistance through the chat is a hurtle itself as they never listen to what is that you need and at only trained in upselling you.
Finally got the technician scheduled, he switched my boxes to the right ones and now every single channel, even news channel are an up charge, requiere a different subscription. Of course… everything is to get your money for less service.
Monopoly over the area in Ocala.
Wait… did I say how much I HATE THIS GARBAGE COMPANY ????

Wifi is trash always cuts out and it takes HOURS to get it fixed HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND service is terrible I can't even watch TV without it making me reset the cable box. DO NOT go to them I mean it!!!!

If I could leave less than one star I would. Cox support told me one thing over the phone to get me to sign up for their cox care support and than backed out not giving me a refund once they couldn't solve their issue. while they offer speeds that are decent they are plagued with intermittent issues, where I was left without internet for two weeks. They also strong arm you when it comes to data cause money. If I could post the cable meme from south park here I would. If you have the option for another cable provider do it. I have been with cox since 2005 and they continually get worse. Hope you are happy Cox!

Cox wifi has been terrible for a few months. Constant service interruptions regardless of the weather. Rain currently has knocked out our service a few times just today.

Cox is quite possibly the worst internet provider I’ve EVER had. service only works ~50% of the time and speeds are unreliable. We live in a rural area and there is constantly “outages” or issues with the routers. the only reason I am a customer is there is not another provider is our area. Would not recommend to my worse enemy.
