We just moved into to new apt in Ocala. The easy set up was not so easy. I happened to see Cox professionals in our neighborhood. Joe and Jameel were very willing to get us on line. They spent at least an hour troubleshooting the issue and got us on line and made the experience truly friendly. These gentleman deserve to be recognized for exemplified customer service. You really want this kind of customer service and support and Joe and Jameel understand what that means. 5 out of 5

My parents have had Cox Cable for almost 5 decades. Services used to be great.They live in the Northeast area and now signal sucks. How many times do they have to have Cox Cable come out? Signal crawling. Phone doesn't work, and because I can't convince them to go wireless, cable costs a fortune. Cox just like Spectrum claims nothing wrong on their end! Wonder if there's a better service for them other than Cox Cable why should they pay almost $300 a month.

Unreliable and goes out constantly. Especially at night. As soon as I am able to switch companies, I will happily cancel my service.

I've had Cox for a few years now and the last 5-6 months it has been the worst Internet a person could have. I have multiple outages (sometimes multiples in one day) and the outages are for hours. In August and September I had more outages than I did internet and when I called customer service they would only give me a small credit to my account. I pay my bill on time every month just like they expect so in return I expect the services I am paying for and if they can't provide those services they should be only charging me for the service they actually do provide. I do believe this is an isolated problem only occuring in certain areas but it is still a huge issue. If you charge people for a service that you can't provide and you know about the issues at hand then you are charging customers fraudulently. I guarantee Cox would shut off your service if you did not pay and they would report you to the credit bureau. Do better by your customers Cox!!

forced to have Cox, there is no other option. Worst service ever. I call support, had my modem replaced, techs out. Service never gets better. I have been told my 1800 square foot house is to large for my router. Would switch in a heart beat if I had the option

I have lived in several states and used many different providers, Cox is by FAR the absolute biggest piece of dog poo for service, constant cutting, service interruptions, no internet on a daily basis, I rely on internet for work and it’s seriously affecting my job. Their prices are the highest. I’m so tired of internet monopolies because of stuff like this, where’s the incentive to fix problems if they are the only provider? I’m looking into T-Mobile or starlink, can’t be much worse.

My apartment complex is wired only to use Cox and their lack of completion shows in their performance Their technical support are all very courteous but courteous will only get you so far. My issues are mainly with their internet. Their technical support staff usually cannot fix the problem over the phone so they have to send out a technician which usually happens days later so here I am with no internet. They talk a good game on their advertisement but the reality is different. I'd think twice about using them if you have a choice, which I don't. Buyer beware.

Store was good switching out equipment. The problem is their internet service is literally unacceptable. It does not even function on a working level. I have switched routers and cleared the system several times and it just does not work. I have 1 TV that I am trying to watch and they can't handle it.

I've been using cox for at least a decade. I've never had the cable part but the home phone and the streaming have always been working well. I only ever have called them twice; once at the beginning and once when I moved. All that and I never pay my bill on time.. sorry Cox..

Staff was fast and professional.... I had a game coming on, and my wifi gateway died.... I had a new and upgraded gateway within the hour game and all. Even with the short wait they make you feel at home

I normally don't leave reviews of places but the people here at Cox went a million times out of their way to help me help my neighbor who was recently diagnosed with dementia he couldn't remember any of his account information his pin he could barely remember his address forgot to pay his bill and they did everything possible to help me get his bill paid and return service so I just want to thank them for helping me help my neighbor you guys are awesome and I hope all your employees are as good as the ones I had the pleasure of interacting with

I was charged for a home visit for a new installation to a different area and the guys who come to install literally moved the small box for streaming and left the other equipment exactly where it originally was. They did not move the equipment.

I live in NW Ocala. Our service crashes at least once a week. I game and we pay almost $120 a month just for internet. I got roped into the best gamer internet package supposedly. Crashes almost constantly. We have no devices running on WiFi and everything is hooked up via lan-cable. I've got the blinking Orange light for 2 hours now. When I tell gamer friends what I pay a month they laugh! I'm always the one getting disconnected or lagging in the servers. Totally fed up!

I went to this store to return the equipment, cancel my service, and pay off the entire bill, because the Wi-Fi was always in and out and I was not paying over $100 monthly for lame service. The girl at the counter cancelled my account and told me I owed $17.42, I told her the text message they sent me said $77.42. she gave me an attitude saying "its showing me $17.42!!" I told her I just wanted to pay the full balance so I could be done with this company. Again she insisted. A few months later I got a letter from the debt collector saying I owe cox money. I never got a physical bill or letter in the mail from cox prior to this, not even an email. So I thought this was a scam. I contacted Cox and they said it's real. I explained my experience, they didn't care/ refused to accept their employee made an error/ won't eat the cost of their own mistake.I closed my account in person with full intentions to pay the full balance, did everything I could at the counter to pay the full balance, and now they're coming after me with a debt collector because the woman whom I had the displeasure of dealing with at this store was either on drugs, incompetent, or just wanted this to happen knowing full well she wont be held accountable for being evil.

I had been having numerous signal drop outs per week. After calling the service line and getting essentially no help I went directly to this store. They went above and beyond to get my issue resolved knowing that this is essentially a store for sales and not service. These people were very helpful and understanding knowing how frustrating it can be.
