I when to the store to have a form notarized. When I arrived the line was out the door. Everyone in front of me had packages (mostly Amazon returns). I asked someone who appeared to be a manager, if I needed to stand in line for notary services and was told I needed to do so.
I've had forms notarized at this store before and already knew that none of the clerks handling the packages performed notary services, but rather than argue, I waited. 45 minutes later it was finally my turn. I was told to step aside for the notary. The same person who told me to wait in line, then proceeded to tell me that the notary was busy and not available. I asked them why they didn't tell me this 45 minutes ago when I first asked them if I needed to wait in line and the response was "he wasn't busy when you first arrived".
I've reported this incident to UPS corporate customer service who needs to do a better job of holding franchise owners accountable for poor customer service.

I have used this UPS store since moving to Ocala 4 years ago. Just like the population of SW Ocala has grown geometrically since then so has the amount of people using this store. Having just read the reviews to the people who are complaining about the wait go to the USPS post office on 60th and you will wait just as long or longer and they only have two window persons working and sometimes one if one is taken away for a passport appointment. I use this UPS store for both for Amazon Returns and Mailing 95% of my parcels and it was an Amazon Return that is the basis of this review. I went in one day for an Amazon Return and to mail a box to my daughter. Of course, they were busy and the window person I got looked new (I average being in there once a week so I can recognize a new face). She checked in the Amazon Return and took care of the separate parcel. Something seemed off and so when I was handed my receipt, and I only saw one item on it, and I asked are they both here and she said yes. In retrospect I should stopped everything right then and made her show and explain it to me. I stapled the receipt to the extra printed copy of the Amazon Return and left. A couple of days later when I had not received confirmation of Amazon return, I checked with Amazon on their 800 # and they had no record of the return, so I grabbed my paperwork and headed back out to the UPS Store. It is that interaction that is the basis of this review. The person I drew I had seen in the store before, but I had no memorable interactions with her. Just as an FYI I had another bad interaction with a UPS store up north on the return of a phone and because I did not keep my paperwork it cost me $300.00. So, I admit I went in with a little bit of attitude and I was not going to let it happen again for this $70.00 return from Amazon. Well “Kathy” did not take kindly when I mentioned using the stores cameras and calling the Sheriff’s Department for either civil or criminal ligation. So, we did not exactly hit it off. What I will say about “Kathy” she looked into the issue thoroughly (although it was probably to prove me wrong – but I do not care why she did it. I care that she did it) She found the defective item in an Amazon Box marked to be returned and showed it to me. However more importantly got into their computer system and found I had they given me the wrong paper receipt (she printed up the right one for future use with Amazon should I need it) and found several other errors which most likely resulted in the issue with the Amazon computer System. She tracked the package I paid to send and showed me that too. Bottom line if you have an issue with a package “Kathy” is the one you want to talk to. The Store owner was there but “Kathy” seemed to know a lot more about their computer system and the store procedures then he did. As a result, they have to get 5 stars on this interaction.

Mr Patel was very professional in taking care of our needs in getting documents notorized. For he was very efficient and explained everything to us. Excellent Customer Service from entire staff that worked at this store. I would recommend this UPS store to anyone. Thank you so much for taking care of our needs.

I made an appointment for the Notary service, my mother had quite a few documents to have notarized. When I got there, it was extremely busy with what sounded like a computer down and many customers. Mr Patel who is their notary got to us quickly, apologizing for any wait as he was trying to fix a machine. He was quick, efficient, and patient with my elderly mother. I also use this location to send packages/returns and they get a thumbs up for quick, efficient, and polite service. Way to go!!!

The older man with the back brace was the rudest person I've ever handled with UPS. This store is terrible and find out it's independently owned, the only one in ocala that is. This explains the bad service everyone gets. I waited 30 minutes in line needing a notary. Once I got to the counter, the gentleman notified the older guy in the brace we needed help. The older guy looked at him, didn't say a word and kept taking other customers. After a few customers I had to ask if I need to be in a line where the old guy is. He said that's likely best. So, in another line waiting. It's 45 minutes by the time it's my turn and guess what? He says he cannot do it, they are too busy......um, there's 2 of you and only 4 customers total. I ask why and he says they are overwhelmed. I say I want to get corporates number, he refused. I said I've been waiting this whole time and you skipped me over and over, to which he yells back, I never skip anybody, nobody ever said anything to me. I look at the other guy and he confirmed he told him. I told the older guy he was the rudest most disrespectful person I've dealt with here and he should be fired. He just said, goodye have a nice day. End up having to go 20 minutes out of my way to another store and they were incredible. That's when I found out this store was independent and everyone complains about them. If your the owner reading this, fire that guy. He cannot handle the responsibility he is tasked with and becomes rude. You also need to figure out your scheduling....whoever is making it, is pretty bad at it.

Wesley and Roy could not have been nicer. Close to closing we came in with 7 large boxes. Most stores would have turned us away. But not not these terrific people. They understood our need to ship and completely helped us out! They are truly the best and will definitely be back. Thank you Wesley and Roy!!

Poor customer service. I walked in and watched 4 employees talking amongst themselves. Finally one acknowledged me and walked over. I wanted to ship USPS media mail. Instead of just taking my package and paying for it (like the post office, Staples or any other place)this guy wanted my personal information (why? So you can spam me?) before mailing it. When I questioned why this was needed when the Post Office (or anyone else) doesn't collect personal information, the response was, "because that's the Post Office". Well, thanks for that information, Sherlock. That's hardly an answer, or polite. Then again, what would I expect from a person over 40 that has chosen to make a minimum wage job his career?
It's interesting that I've never had this experience at other UPS stores when mailing something via USPS. I could understand if I was using UPS shipping, but I wasn't. There are far too many other options to mail my package WITHOUT giving out my phone number, address and email. Since they are just handing this off to the Post office, they have no legitimate reason to ask for the information. There's another drop off point just down the road that doesn't collect any information, just give them your package and pay for it.
Maybe if the guy behind the counter could have answered my question without the snarky remarks the outcome could have been different. However, I don't utilize businesses with rude employees. I'll go out of my way to do business with a place that has good employees.

This is an excellent UPS store with a helpful staff who treats every customer with great care. The manager has a great staff who will go the extra mile for the customer.

0 Stars They stole a ring I was sending back to a friend because it was his grandmother ring and know I have to pay for it I don't think they even sent it out I think they took everything out of the package. I'm not happy. About to file a police report because this is not kool. They are all rude and disrespectful. Will never use this place again.

If I could give this Place zero stars I would they charge way too much. The two owners are completely disrespectful and rude to everyone . To make it worse, the only person they hired is just as rude and disrespectful as them. She cursed under her breathe Towards me and my husband walking out, DONT WASTE A DIME HERE.
