“First off; where do I start? I contacted Carlos a few months ago to get assistance for my daughter. She was looking to obtain a mortgage as a first time home buyer. The pre approval process was quick and painless. Carlos had explained to us all of the available home buyers assistance programs that were available in our area for her. He went over the different rate options for each program and provided estimated mortgage payments for her to make an educated decision. He guided her through the entire process from beginning to end. He did all of this without her even having a property under contract. After my daughter found the home of her dreams, Carlos went right to work. He locked in a great down payment assistance program for her that made it affordable for her to buy her first home. When it was time to submit everything to their underwriting department, he brought in Mari, who was dynamic. She made the transaction very seamless by going over in great detail all of the documents she had to submit. She went above and beyond and stayed on top of underwriting to make sure they had everything they needed. If they came back with any requests, she contacted my daughter right away and went over what they needed. She even got a home owners insurance quote that was cheaper than what we had found and that saved her over $800 for the year. Her and Carlos worked so hard to make sure my daughter was able to close on her home before the rate lock had expired. Had the rate lock expired, she would not have qualified for the down payment assistance program. It was crunch time for my daughter to close. They stayed on top of underwriting and the title company to make sure they processed all of the paperwork in a timely manner. My daughter closed on her home and is extremely happy she was able to purchase a home for her and her for the holidays!Carlos and Mari, I call y’all the dynamic duals. “Outstanding Customer service- i have been with them from 2011 or 2012....especially in North Charleston, SC 29406..In north Charleston, SC -there are great folks like Mrs.Debbie, Mrs. Llinda, Great Brother very intelligent Mr. Stirling, Mrs. Janice and few others it has been a while...so i forgot other names.and now recently had a great experince in Altamonte Springs, FloridaAlways happy with the Navy Federal from Day 1- now it is going to be X years by the start of this year I guess...Anyhow normally i send for North Charleston, SC 29406 branch. This time i must send since i moved to Florida still work for Department of Navy by accident:)These two people must be appreciated in Altamonte Springs, FloridaIt was on Thursday if I recollect -i have gone many times after I moved on October 9th 2023....This last Thursday January 4th 2024...had time crunch and work pressure, it was Lunch time or sort of pretty close to end of my shift...i went to Navy Federal , it was a long line, - Ms. Heaven- hopefully it is the right name-she was sitting in front desk on that day instead of cashier- she was quick to help me how to get that deposited and Dona. She was extremely helpful. Other person who helped to get my (it is hard to put that in this social media) so fast due to ? unable to put here- he was amazing younger brother -his name was Mr. Cristian brother- very nice gentleman - on January 4th he was in the Cashier or Teller or service for depositing or so , but he helped earlier-this is a long due for him... please ensure to pass on this good note to upper management.. Manager and Assistant manager for that branch always says hello and they remember me somehow- too much Asian Indian thick accent with always smiling:) Appreciated- Please pass this on to Upper management please- Appreciated again.Sri”
