I never thought I would leave a review like this but it is my duty to inform job seekers about the work environment here. You know it's bad when new employees are being warned by veteran employees of how toxic the work environment is.Imagine being a new employee and witnessing seasoned employees in verbal disputes with the managers over their work practices & audacious disposition toward employees. It sets a bad tone for new employees.I was foretold about night management by an employee who resigned after 5 years within my first 2 weeks and he was right! Supposedly the higher ups was supposed to replace the night manager but never did for some reason. From my observation, it seems the higher ups are too lazy to search for and hire better management.Multiple employees quit before I was hired and even more quit while I was employed. There's an extremely high employee turnover rate and that is not good for any company. Given that and my years of work experience, I realized that I definitely would not be employed here long.It has all the makings of a hostile work environment. If you need the job at the time then by all means go for it but plan on not wanting to remain here. If you simultaneously have other offers then certainly DO NOT take this job offer.

Your Guest services is horrible. I called 10 times and not a soul answered the phone. I placed an order for pickup and the order never went through. I found that out by going to the store ( which love the staff) and they couldn't find it anywhere. I want my money refunded asap for order abc41075004 since I can't get anyone on the phone and already sent 2 emails. WORST guest services experience ever.

I wanted to share an experience I had with the local store here early last month. I received an email regarding the sale items good through 8/27 and saw an item I was interested in purchasing. It was the Southern Tier 2XFACTOR 12pk that listed for $17.99 as the sale price. My girlfriend was out running errands and stopped by the store to pick up a pack. When she returned I noticed the receipt rang up for $20.99, the regular price. I went back to the store and showed them the email I received and the person there told me that I needed to click the BUY NOW option and when I did the regular price showed up instead of the sales price. I told the person there I did not check that as I had no intention of purchasing online. He said he could not adjust the price to match the sale price and I left unhappy. I called guest services on or about 8/5 and spoke with “Cathy” and explained to whole story to her as well. She said she would see what she could do and call me back. I did not hear from her so I called back and was told her manager would send a $5 gift card for the inconvenience. After about 2 weeks I have called on several occasions to follow up on the status and I received one call where a voice mail was left stating the card had been sent. I logged into my ABC account and noticed my old address was listed. Cathy never verified my address when I spoke with her so I did not know it was my previous address. I had updated that either earlier this year or late last year at the store when the clerk there asked me to verify my info was correct on the POS machine. Not sure why it did not take. The old address is next to where I live now and I personally know the person who lives there and she states nothing has been received for me from ABCFWS. To this date, I have yet to receive the card nor have I gotten a return call after 3 more messages left on the VM for guest services. I know $5 is a minimal amount, but it’s the principle here. The local store refused honor the published sales prices, I’ve not received what was promised and no one has retuned my calls.

5 hours to unload. DRIVERS; if you are delivering they check every box on every pallet on a full 53ft dryvan, and I was the only truck there. So very long unloading times. I personally will never deliver here again.

This place it's the perfect gate away for drinkers. It's fairly new and they are keeping it classy. I must say. This is very well distributed and organized. Good selection of whiskeys, tequilas and right in the front of the store, the champagnes, what a treat! Worth it your time and drive. Come check it out!!! Jan C

The online ordering is a complete nightmare. Most items out of stock, very limited availability etc. Never using them again. Finally placed an order only to get a call that a wine had been gone for four months. Total wine here I come.

ABC's store staff, selections and pricing are all good. On the other hand, their ordering website is horrible. Sometimes it works; sometimes not. As an example, today I tried to place a $125 order; the website would not allow me to complete the transaction. I tried to redo the order at least 4 times. This has happened to me in the past, at least three times. I have tried to contact ABC by phone; the response was that it may take greater than 48 hours to get back to me. I also sent them a message at their website contact. The website showed no inventory of a certain wine at my local store; I went to the store and found 6 bottles of the wine on the shelf.

I want to warn people about their ABC Access program and specifically the Vault they brag about. It is a fraud. I spent thousands of dollars to get access to this vault and have received one invitation in 12 months - and that was only after I brought a lack of "Gold Status" to their attention despite having well over the number of required points to qualify. (* last 2 emails ignored though). They then conveniently mixed my account with some other account and could not get it un-mixed, so rather than give me access to the Vaults I missed they just threw their hands in the air and leave me in the cold. So no Vault access despite my investment. Outright fraud. Customer service is a joke, but they do not care because they have my money and it is one less person gaining access to the good stuff in the Vault.Speaking of which, there in nothing worth drinking on the shelves (locally, at least - how about allowing transfers between stores??), so if you can't get to the Vault there is no reason to go into the store. You have to spend $1000 on swill to get access to even mid-level bourbon. They certainly have the scam figured out. I'm sure in the end, like most liquor stores, they keep the good stuff for themselves and their friends. Avoid ABC, shop your local liquor store, and spend your goodwill where it is appreciated.***update - I did respond with “facts” to guest services and they had to “escalate the issue” to someone else. I never heard back (like the other times I’ve brought this up). I stand by my 1 STAR review.
