Unfortunately, after being a customer of this establishment for many years, our journey has come to an end. To begin, Joyce (the general manager) has no sense of accountability or integrity when dealing with customers. Acme isn’t the most inexpensive, but I would patronize the business frequently due to convenience.
Recently, my visit was distasteful and insulting to say the least. First, I was told my order would be ready two days later after 5pm; which didn’t make too much sense to me, because they close at 6:00pm. So, I would have to only an hour to redeem my garments that I needed by a certain time. I didnt really understand this logic, but I went along with it (guessing this was a new policy).
Secondly, I called and spoke to one of the representatives the day of redemption and I was told my order was ready a couple of hours prior to the guaranteed time. I called again and spoke to this same person to gather my total, because I would be sending my wife to pick up for me. I also inquired if I could pay online or by link, I was told the wasn’t possible. So, my wife comes to pickup my order, but she was told “we no longer take cash and it has been this way for a few weeks and there is a sign posted on the glass door” (I mind you, it’s the door the constantly keep opening and closing while handling each customer and the sign is small and easy to miss without someone drawing your attention to it). Why would no one tell me that, when I dropped off my order or called multiple times to inquire about my order?
Trying to explain that to this staff was frustrating and infuriating. They took no accountability of inconveniencing their customer, no formal apology was extended and no exception of lack on their part was made. However, Joyce didn’t fail to arrogantly tell my wife (and I was on the phone), “People don’t usually pay with cash, so we don’t say anything”. Even if they don’t, cash is a legal form of tender. One could have thought we were asking to pay with an illegal form of payment. We were offended. Not to mention, after all of that my wife having to leave and go get her bank card (rushing against time) one of the garments still had an evident makeup stain of the front of the vestment. They utterly wasted my time and money. I will NOT be returning to this place of business. After the many years of patronizing this business, one would have thought they would have handled a returning customer differently.

Very friendly and so polite, Clothes are ready and look terrific. They really take care of your clothes and if they have spots let them know and the spots will be gone.. I feel like I have known them forever. You will love them and they offer Cold water and Popcorn if
you like. ( It is really good popcorn)... It is family owned

I have 9 ft draperies, shears and swags in my home and ACME is the ONLY company I would trust to clean them! Professional and VERY customer service directed, this group got all my items cleaned in 6 days before the Holidays!!! Heather is a miracle worker and so are the staff! Thank you ACME!!

Bad customer service when confronted about doing a bad job. He gave me my items after company was in wrong and turned his back and left me with no answers and job not finished. He was not concerned with my issues. This location is not recommended. Beware don't trust them with your itemsService: Alterations

After years of taking my laundry to Acme, it has been disappointed on the quality and customer service. The shirts were coming out of the laundry dirtier than coming in, specially white shirts. They re do some shirts and was getting worst. When I brought it up the answer was, "we can not sure they will come out clean". Not taking my cloth there any longer, bad quality and horrible customer service.

Very very efficient. And they can work miracles. My wife's wedding dress from 1972 was in poor condition from years of ineffective storage. ACME completely restored it and then packaged it for preservation. Beautiful!
