I've been taking my car here for the last couple of years. Expectations are always set properly and prices have been really good compared to other places. So far they've really done a great job and even went the extra mile when I messed up. I would highly recommend them.

This business was recommended to me seven years ago and I have been taking all of my vehicles there--for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance--since then. The owner, Ricky, the service desk clerks, and all of the repair persons that I have encountered have always been both friendly and professional. I have never had to take my cars back because something wasn't repaired properly, Ricky ALWAYS explained, in detail, the work that needed to be done. He also frequently offered suggestions on how I might save some costs, and he calls to explain any delays that might be forthcoming. When maintenance was completed, my vehicles were always delivered clean. Overall, I have been very satisfied with all of the work performed by them on my vehicles. The customer waiting area could be improved a lot, but the work is outstanding. I highly recommend this business for your auto maintenance. Tom K, Orlando

I had went there to check about pricing to install a engine. I told them that I could get a remanufactured engine for 2100, I was told they could do better just bring the truck. We should be able to save you a lot of money. So i had my truck towed there..... long story short..... I was given three different prices, each time the price went up more and more.... the excuse was shop fee... so I decided not to have to the work.... so i get charge shop fee for towing my truck.... it was the wost car shop i have been to.. The company find away to charge too much..

A couple of good friends had been taking their cars there for years, so it seemed worth a shot when my "Check Engine" light came on suddenly. After holding onto my car for three days, he called with an estimate: $200 for a diagnostic test (I've never heard of this anywhere else), and then he quoted $1100 to replace a couple of parts in the emissions system. I asked if I could put off this type of expensive repair, and he assured me I'd be polluting the environment if I didn't replace the parts immediately, so I consented. When I picked up my car, the final amount was almost $100 more than he'd quoted to me over the phone; when I questioned the discrepancy, he told me it was sales tax (fine) and accused me of wanting to get out of paying taxes (strange, irrelevant, and rude). I paid the $1100 and washed my hands of Advanced Auto System corp (or so I thought). Four days later, my "Check Engine" light came back on. I immediately took my car back in and Anil owner diagnosis was that the gas cap wasn't screwed on tightly enough. Here's the catch: I hadn't gotten gas since well before I took the car in the FIRST TIME! In other words, he should have caught the leaky gas cap during my first visit. Sure, the problem could have been both with the gas cap (free repair) and the emissions parts ($1100) but I have my doubts after the series of sketchy, rude conversations I've had with the staff. I hate to say this about a local business, but please, please stay away.

I brought my S2000 here to fix ECU issues and to fix an oil leak. They installed a new ECU and replaced some seals. After over $1700 later, my car is still leaking oil because they failed to replace the vtech sylenoid. Both were simple enough tasks that should've been fixed the first time for that kind of money. I just didn't have time to do it myself which now I have to do anyway.

Took my 2003 Isuzu for transmission flush and brakes. I was told I needed brake pads callipers and rotors all the way around. $1200 of which less than 200 was oil change and tranny. This was way too much for a vehicle of this value. On the off chance they were putting the screws to me I took it to another repair service reccomended by a friend. It turns out the rotors did not even require turning, the calipers were fine. Less than 200 dollars to do the work ... Things that make you go hmmmm. Oh did I mention the front brakes did not even need pads.... The people at the other shop showed me the work that was needed and it was fairly obvious the work I was quoted on was not necessary. Bad business practice!!!
