One of the worst airlines I've ever traveled with. I'll start with check-in. We weren't able to check in until exactly 3 hours beforehand. There was a massive line with people sitting on the ground. Once the staff arrived they opened several lanes and worked through the customers pretty well. When we arrived at the desk, the woman who was "helping" is was very robotic. We asked her a question twice to which we never got the answer regarding our bags. Then when we got on the plane, the staff was friendly. However, it was the most uncomfortable 8.5 hour flight of my life. For a reference, I'm 5'4"/160lbs. My knees were hitting the seat in front of me and I felt super crammed in like a sardine ! It was so miserable. The lady in front of me reclined her seat which made it to where the seat-back table was literally in my lap. God help you if you're a taller, bigger person. If I can help it, I will never fly Aer Lingus again ! They want you to buy business class which most people can't afford. Those are the photos they display online where you can lay flat during your flight.

Bag delayed, poor communication unless you chase them and then no update when it arrived

It requires an act of Congress to talk to any person from Aer Lingus to get any kind of business completed with them, their voice recording only enables you to leave a message. It’s a sad state of affairs for commercial aviation!
