I was just at Amscot today at this in particular location and I had the pleasure of being helped by an employee named Shay and she spectacular answered all my questions and gave me A1 service will definitely come to the store in the future.

Beware of this store they can and will try to play with you to steal your money. Refused to give me my paycheck back after not being able to cash it and told me I wouldn’t receive it back. I called the police and also called customer service somebody had to call her and tell her to give me my check back like the pathetic person she was. Police took over 30 minutes to arrive and gave the check back before they came. When I left they called me and asked if I was still present I told them no and they advised I make a police report because that is attempted theft. Thank you to customer service on the phone for helping me and fast! This manager also lied to the person on the phone to try and save herself saying she never said that and had to email my check information .. regardless of your policy it doesn’t take over 30 minutes to do that and again liar .. you told me I wasn’t going to get it back. Hope they end up firing you who knows how many others paychecks, loans etc you have played with. I have kids I don’t take situation lightly.
