No customer service whatsoever. I went to get a money order and the lady at the counter told me cash only. When I was about to leave the store I realized that they have ATM machines and she didn’t even have the courtesy to let me know that they had ATM’s.

★☆☆☆☆ Oh, Amscot? Fuhgeddaboudit!
So I walk into Amscot thinkin’ it’s just a simple check cashin’—in and out, right? Nah. They hit me with the Spanish Inquisition: “What’s this check for? Where’d ya get it? Who’s your grandmother’s dog’s babysitter?” Like, really?
The staff? Let’s just say customer service ain’t in their vocabulary. Attitude for days. Eye rolls, sighs—like I ruined their day by walkin’ in. And after all that?
“We’re unable to cash your check.”
Oh, beautiful. Ten minutes of interrogation for nothin’. Not even a “sorry.” Just vibes.
If you’re lookin’ to waste time, get talked down to, and leave empty-handed, Amscot’s your spot.
Otherwise? Do yourself a favor—go literally anywhere else.
