I never write reviews but this was so bad that I feel a duty to warn people about it so they don’t get duped like us. We came here (2 months ago) because of the high reviews but it was one of the worst eating experiences we’ve ever had. Unfortunately we ordered a lot of food because we were so excited with the variety on the menu (Japanese AND Korean!) and we were hungry after a day at Universal. But the food was so terrible that it’s shocking they charge people for it. And they charge a lot too. First of all, the sushi rice was undercooked. How can a Japanese restaurant not know how to make sushi rice?!? It seems like the most basic thing to master before you can even open to paying customers. I can make better sushi rice at home - that’s how bad it was. The fish did not taste fresh which is not a good feeling if you’re eating it raw. The ramen broth was flavourless. The egg was a hard boiled egg instead of a ramen egg. They didn’t have soup spoons for the ramen which is a red flag that it’s not authentic. They gave metal spoons for the ramen. The stone bowl bibimbap had veggies that you don’t normally see in that dish. It was different, and not in a good way.We should have been tipped off that the food was going to be bad because the table beside us complained to the waiter that the chicken (or prawn?) was over cooked and inedible. At the table across from us, the woman had a disgusted look on her face the whole time during dinner.Save your money and go to another restaurant!

The food here was fire. Chef Shin recommended a bunch of their incredible dishes and every single one was delicious. I'm always looking for good Korean restaurants in Orlando, and this may be the spot. I love that it's a fusion of Japanese and Korean food. Two of my favorite cuisines. You seriously can't go wrong with any of their sushi rolls or Korean dishes. Their presentation was incredible.

Had high hopes for this place, but sadly it didn't wow in anyway. No hostess at the front and the place was empty. When we were finally acknowledged the waitress quickly sat us. The food was okay. I had the Fiery Shrimp which came with a salad (salad wasn't fresh). My husband opted for some sushi which was okay as well. The restaurant ambiance seems to carry the place. A lot of room and cozy environment. Overall wouldn't rush back!

The BEST Bartender in Florida, Danielle, is the main reason I come here. She’s stunning, incredible to talk to, and makes the best old fashion you’ll ever try!

Taste: 4/5 Value: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 The food presentation at this restaurant was really nice, and the overall atmosphere was clean and inviting. While the majority of the dishes we sampled were outstanding, there were a few items that failed to impress us. We also had a few problems with our server, most significantly that I didn't get my boba tea until the last few minutes of the meal. Despite ordering it before any food items, it wasn't brought to the table until after we had gone through multiple appetizers, my main course, and even reached halfway through our sushi. I recognize that everyone can have an off night so I'm not trying to be overly critical about the service, but it did impact the overall experience.

Omg the food was amazing!!! The Wow sushi roll is !! Highly recommend it. We loved every bit of it. Our server Shu-Ting was great!!! The rolls she recommended were awesome!! She was real quick, very intentive. Nice place, looks nice inside. I will definitely be going back. Again I highly recommend this place. Worth every penny. I also got honey galbi but I got it to go because I got full on sushi. I tasted it when I got home.

What can I say! We really went all out at Akasaka. The service and food were out of this world. Chef Shin served us his favorite dishes and it was delicious. The Gyoza in two different styles were very good. The presentation of assorted Tempura was beautiful with cherry blossom tree. The Takoyaki is always our favorite. The authentic Korean dishes were so good. The Spicy Seafood Jjambbong and Tteokbokki were amazing. The sushi rolls come out beautifully and are delicious. Loved the Steak platter. Chef Shin came out with a torch and seared the meat. It was unbelievable. Highly recommend if you're by the Dr. Phillips area.

The food was overall really good especially for the amount of food on their menu. There is a huge variety of what you could get here from both korean and Japanese culture. I really enjoyed the takoyaki, tempura, rolls, and steak. The steak in particular had a little show that came with it where the chef or waitress torches the steak! It was awesome! The ambiance is also super cool and everyone if friendly and efficient at their work. Almost forgot to mention but there is a large selection of different drinks!
