WE LOVE DREW. We followed him from Longwood Banfield and he’s been our pet tech for YEARS. The people below writing nasty reviews are the type of people who don’t follow/listen to policies and don’t get their way so they take it out on the most familiar face. If you want someone who’s knowledgeable and caring, go see Drew. You are in great hands and won’t be disappointed.

If there is one thing I can say about this hospital is that the staff and the doctors are absolutely amazing. Everyone does everything they can do for my fur babies and without them I do not know what I would do with my hectic work schedule. Starting with Drew in the front, he is one of the best front desk people I have met. Then comes the techs, Nicole is a god sent. After that we have Dr. Q and Dr. Bigge, these two are the most transparent and knowledgeable doctors I have ever met. Over all this hospital is amazing and anyone who says differently obviously can not follow standard policy or are extremely entitled. Nonetheless instead of trying to shame people and add to the suicide rate that is already high in this very difficult field, we should let them know that we appreciate everything that they have done to take care of our pets.

We've been to this hospital for YEARS and since DREW is there is has been hell, he is the most disrespectful, insolent and must non-helpful person there. Even calling and doing all thenecessary steps to get the information needed he won't help. The best thing Banfield could do is taking him out of customer service. The most disrespectfully and unfeeling person should not be work with people who love their pets and is trying to care for them

If I could give 0 or negative stars, I would. Not only is this the worst customer service I have ever experienced (including Comcast/Xfinity), the care is borderline malpractice and extremely unprofessional. The front desk associate Drew is perhaps the most insolent, sorry excuse of an individual I have met. The practice thrives on unnecessary visits to increase patient billing, even with veterinary wellness plans. When attempting to resolve an issue, the veterinarian won't be back in for four days and the practice manager is on PTO until further notice. Even the 800 customer service number can only resolve billing issues, if that tells you anything at all. I will be filing a complaint with the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine.

I love this location. They take excellent care of my pup and are always so kind. Though he hates visiting the vet LOL at least I know he’s being well taken care of. But heads up to anxious pet owners if your dog is a barker he might get muzzled which is fair since the techs have no idea if the dog might be aggressive!

Second bad experience at this location and definitely won’t be back again. I used to go to the Longwood Banfield before I moved Downtown and had no issues! However the Mills staff is passive aggressive, the wait times are insane and the vet never even speaks to you. Not only that, but each time just felt like a shakedown for cash. Waited 4+ hours for a scheduled appt and ended up picking him up before they could even do an exam only to find my dog wet in his own pee and terrified. Full details below on both visits but overall, stay away and try a diff location!!Visit #1:Took my dog for a check up and routine vaccines and the staff was super unfriendly, pressured me multiple times to try and sign off on shots and extra things he didn’t need, and guilt tripped me when I said no. Also never spoke to a vet after the exam despite them supposedly having found some concerns. No follow ups either. Already had a bad taste in my mouth after this experience and only returned over a year later because it was mildly urgent.Visit #2:Took my dog today for a mildly urgent skin/urinary concern and made an appointment for 12:30 pm. Arrived 30 minutes early and got called into a waiting room where I met with a vet tech to fill out paperwork. They didn’t even looked at my dog or ask what the issue was before trying to get me to sign off on shots and tests (again, the vet hadn’t even seen him yet!) She threw out a bunch of price quotes and wanted me to agree before taking him to see the DR for an exam. I politely told her I’d like to wait for the exam to decide the best course of action. She agreed and asked if it was ok if I just left him instead of waiting to see the vet. I agreed and left him in their care.I hadn’t heard anything after 1.5 hours so I tried calling but when they answered the phone the first thing they said was “if this isn’t an emergency can I put you on hold?” - I said sure and sat on hold for 6+ minutes before giving up. Finally after FOUR HOURS I called again and told them I’d like to just pick up mg dog. Of course THEN the vet (Dr Q) finally gets on, seems super irritated and uninterested, and starts spewing off that they were able to get a “free urine sample” (aka he peed in the kennel and they could collect it) but that she still recommends a professional urine test and ultrasound “just in case” and once again price quoted me.I was shocked because they said they’d call before running tests so when I asked she admitted she HADN’T EVEN EXAMINED HIM YET. My dog sat in a kennel alone for 4 hours, peed all over himself, and it wasn’t until I called to pick him up that they even considered starting his exam. Yet all the while wanted me to sign off and pay for tests.I ended up deciding to just pick him up and deny the exam even though I still have a very real concern for my dogs health. When I picked him up no one spoke to me, apologized, or explained the situation.Overall incredibly unprofessional, and borderline abusive. What’s the point of making an appt if you drop them off and they don’t get seen for 4+ hours? So long to the point he peed on himself (he was all wet when I picked him up) and was so excited to see me because he seemed absolutely frightened by the staff. I’ll likely be driving all the way out to longwood or finding a private vet and ditching the Banfield franchise all together.

For the last two years, the staff at this location have been AMAZING!! I have a senior dog with special needs and they have always gone above and beyond to help me. Noelia has been especially fantastic!! She has helped me, offered support and has always gone above and beyond! I am so grateful for her. Although I'm leaving Banfield after 15 years, because of a horrible experience at another location and because my dog needs more specialized care, this location has been the best during all my years with Banfield. I'm so thankful from the bottom of my heart for all that they did for me and my furbaby!

Everyone there was so kind and so accommodating it was a really great experience! I definitely will recommend this particular place to everyone I know that has pets. I was really blown away at how one of your vet techs took my dog for a walk to give me in the veterinarian Rachel Quagliozzi time to discuss things. Also I give mad kudos to Noelia for going above and beyond with her service and kindness. Thank you all for taking care of my dog with legitimate empathy. Great vibes throughout the entire Banfield on Mills establishment.

Most everyone was really awesome, I wonder if I just got the bad apple of the bunch of the way of vets. The nurse lady was nice, talkative and jovial. It was really nice in a stressful situation but all good things must come to an end, as they say.Rachael Quagliozzi was just an unwanted cloud on a nice sunny day. All the comfort the rest of the staff built left the room when she walked in. Abrasive, disinterested and snippy are the best ways to describe her. She's rough with animals and no even trying to build trust with my cat, just grabbing and prodding which can work for some cats, but not all. Can't tell her nothing though, she's too busy talking about her own cats. When I tried suggesting something, she told me it would have been helpful 5 minutes prior in the rudest tone and a sneer. Y'know what's NEVER helpful, Rachael? Sarcasm to someone trying to offer you advice who's already in a stressful situation, so sorry I didn't tell you sooner but you wouldn't stop yammering on about your cat.She did soften in posture and tone after coming back with blood work and going over my dudes diagnosis so I guess there is a glimmer of bedside manner, however shallow. To play devils advocate for a moment, she did just get out of surgery and was getting ready to go into another one, so maybe she was stressed, but did Winston or I tell you to pick this career, work at this vet office, have those surgeries booked? Nope. Sorry someone called out on you too, which not sure why I needed to be told that but okay, bit we weren't responsible for that either. From what I understand, she's going to be mainly caring for Winston, so hopefully it was a one off, bad day situation. Only time can tell there.I guess to finish this up, the rest of the staff seemed really nice and like they cared for the customers and patients, so far I do recommend the facility, just not Rachael. ?♂️

Was able to schedule a last minute appointment here and they were great. Check in and out process was easy, this Banfield even allowed you to go in an exam room which they haven't done since pre covid.

This place traumatized our cat and also stated it’s illegal for them to give cats the medication they need without doing the necessary tests first. The world would be a better place without these people. Stay far away.

More expensive as a chain than our local vet, but they were able to get my pet in for vaccine updates the next day compared to a month out at every other vet. (Pet needed up to date shots to be boarded for a human emergency.) We went back for booster shots and met the vet. Dr Bigge and staff are very sweet. The app is functional, staff is great, and communication by phone call and text are great. Easy to transfer records to a new location. Overall, great experience.

Very bad experience was my first time and the last. I had to wait an hour and a half for my dog to be attended, when a girl finally arrives she tells me that I had to pay without even examining my dog, without knowing if she needs tests or something.

I would recommend their exceptional service to any fur mama that is always worrying about their fur babies. Like I do, my most recent experience I had the pleasure of meeting with client service coordinator Mimi, Nurse Kassidi, and Dr Bigge. They even left me the sweetest note say my Cane Corso “Suge is a sweet man!” That is such rewarding feedback. Thank you so much for the affirmations. I will recommend everyone to your company and your location. Below are pictures of Suge at the visit actually happy to be there and after is when I picked him up and he was still smiling. This has never happened at even my hometown vet. He is a very smart, emotional & sensitive boy. So he feel’s everything, just like his mama. Again thank you for doing an amazing job.
