My husband and I are new to the area, but have been with Banfield for over 5 years and never had a bad experience. We scheduled online at this location and were told at the store by the receptionist that we were at the wrong location. She seemed annoyed that she had to call “the other store” to let them know we were running late and then said there was no appointment there either. We checked our confirmation and we were in fact at the correct location. She informed my husband that their online system does not translate to their store and therefor we did not have an appointment. She was very rude to him until I approached the desk and then she tried backtracking her words. She continued on to say that our comprehensive exam and vaccines were not covered by the plan and that we were not overdue for anything. She sharply told us to look at our plan online to “check for yourself” as she did not believe us. I think she was in the wrong account because when she finally said the account name, it was not us. Another worker confirmed that our dog WAS due for vaccines and that they were covered by our plan. They did squeeze us into the schedule because of the confirmation which we were grateful for, but I wish I had read the reviews before we decided to stay. We will be finding another location despite having to drive further out.

We liked the establishment until...last month, we dropped our fur baby off at opening, and hours passed with no updates. We continued to call every so often to check and see if things were good. Every time we called, we were hung up on or transferred straight to voicemail. When we did reach someone, they told us things were okay. However, we shouldn't have had to call for updates - they should have called us with updates. We continued to wait, thinking that things were going to be fine. A couple of hours later, they called and requested that we arrive immediately. We did. They pulled us back and told us that we needed to put our baby down. Thats not even the worst part. As I type this, it has been a month since he passed, and we have still not received his urn. The whole ordeal could have been made easier for us, but we just felt very left out of the loop. And now, who knows if we'll ever see his urn. Our hearts are broken, but let this be a lesson, everyone.

I like them and what not because some of the people that work here actual care about you and the pet about you and your animal will try to save you as much money as you can but when it comes to scheduling and procedures and you know being on time with everything and you know explaining stuff to the pet owners I only give them a 1 star for one reason one reason only I brought my dog and he was the first one in to Banfield hospital first one on the procedure list and everything in and out 12:00 1:00 2:00 at the most then they called me 4 hours later saying it'll be closer closing time that he'll be ready because they fell behind on a couple of the animals procedures which I think is totally and utterly wrong being that my dog was supposed to be the first one on the list for procedures today not the third or the 4th or the second or anything like that the first that's what I was told and that'll be told something different I am I am very dissatisfied and very unhappy about this considering they need to get their stuff together and they sometimes charge you twice when you shouldn't be charged twice for your monthly payment that's another thing they need to get under control but for right now is the lack of communication between them and explaining stuff to the pet owners and putting the pets in line and order like they should be instead of having a pet owner owners wait at the hospital all day for their pet when they only supposed to be there only 3 or 4 hours again I am very dissatisfied and very unhappy I am highly considering about canceling my dogs wellness plan over this because of this so if I am not taking care of accordingly on this issue or some kind of reimbursement for this issue because of their lack of ability to run a established pet hospital the right way I was told when I drop my pet off at 7:15 this morning he was the first one on the procedure list is the first one in line I wouldn't have to wait more than a couple hours three or four hours I was like okay I'm already on this side of town I stay for them three or four hours now they're telling me a whole day totally dissatisfied and unhappy with this

I booked a 2:00 PM appointment. The front desk associate called and asked if I can come earlier so that Toto may be monitored. I said I may be able to come around 12:00 PM, but my schedule is tight. I was under the impression that my appointment would still be listed at 2:00 PM. When I arrive at 12:15 PM, after rearranging my schedule, the associate said that she had changed my appointment to 12:00 PM without formally notifying me. She then said that I could not be taken due to my missed appointment, despite my appointment being at 2:00 PM. I will never return to this Banfield again. Thankfully for another more responsible veterinary office in the area, Kindred Spirits Animal Clinic, our dog was able to be serviced today.

I called the following day as suggested if there were any issues or questions and was denied talking to a doctor or someone with answers. You expect for people to pay so much money and then literally refuse help unless there is even more money envolved! My dog was walking perfectly fine before visiting the vet and then all of a sudden he is no longer able to walk correctly! I am infuriated and it just feels as though no one really cares about our pets whatsoever. I will definitely be looking to taking this matter higher up because this is inexcusable.

I definitely do not recommend banfield! when you want to cancel they say it was canceled and then put me a debit to pay! This is a shame! don't waste your time

We brought our kitten for her first checkup here and lady at the front was so RUDE! we weren’t allowed to go in with our kitten and their excuse is because of Covid. But yet NO ONE IS WEARING A MASK! If it’s because of Covid then every employee should have a mask on. The lady rudely told me to sit down when I went to ask why I wasn’t allowed to go with her. Do not take your pets here! If they treat humans rudely imagine what they do to your pet behind your back.

It's a great place to take your pet .My cat is my life he has a little bit of feline asthma my black kitty and they are the best they take great care of him.I always have his medicines without hassle

The front desk lady, older woman, long blonde hair is EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I have always gone to this location until she became part of the team. Every single time I have gone there she’s always so rude to me, has no respect, makes faces when you talk, doesn’t like if you try to ask a question, doesn’t even care about your pet, and just an unpleasant person to speak to when you go there. The last time I went which was when I was over it, it was just to claim my puppy’s medicine. This lady made me wait about 25 minutes because she was on the phone, after she got off the phone I was calmly and nice and told her I was just there to pick up my dogs medicine. She gave me the nastiest response, and started questioning me and at the end she didn’t even give me anything.. The first time I had a problem with her, was when my puppy was sick. She treated me and my puppy so bad that day just because my poor pup was sick.. She shouldn’t be working at a health place, she has no customer service experience. If she treats us parents like this, I cannot imagine how she’ll treat our baby’s in the back. I have officially switched locations to Dr. Phillips and they are super nice over there. I have complained about my situations to Banfield Cares but I was suppose to get a response from management and I still haven’t received anything. I will be contacting them again until this solution is fixed for everyone that goes there. It’s not fair how we get treated for just bringing our pets to a doctors appointment, I would expect to be treated kindly by the front desk lady… Everyone else that works there has always been very nice and kind to me and my dogs but this lady just ruined it for many.

One of the front desk ladies, older woman blonde, Caucasian, is VERY disrespectful. I went to Banfield to get my cat’s food prescription cards and she gave me such a hard time and seemed to be making up her own rules based on her own personal beliefs. My cat has a lifetime prescription, unlimited refills (clearly stated on the prescription as I pointed out to her to which she scoffed) I’ve always gotten my cat’s prescription cards renewed at Banfield with no issue, she wasn’t letting me get a word in to explain myself and continued to sigh, cut me off and roll her eyes with me. I wish I got her name, she is a terrible employee and I will never ever even consider bringing an animal to this location knowing they’d be anywhere near somebody this mean and disrespectful. This PetSmart is a great store, good staff, an older gentlemen cashier is such a nice person everytime I’m there but this Banfield needs to reevaluate their staff and teach proper customer service as well as train the front desk to know proper rules and procedures. Ridiculous. I ultimately got my prescription card made after she reluctantly helped me because she knew she was in the wrong. Such a horrible experience. Why be so mean to someone who is just trying to get their sick pet the food that makes them feel better and that you have a proper, up to date prescription for? I just don’t understand.
