Interesting location…
Charlyne, “The Manager,” was not helpful at all. We asked for a fresh pair of boots that wasn’t on display, as we could only find one—and the one on display was pretty beat up. The manager advised that if we ordered online and had it shipped to the store, we’d receive the same shoe that was on the shelf. When my sister asked what would happen if the shoe had already been sold, we got no response.
When we inquired about a possible discount for a worn display shoe, Charlyne told us all their shoes are on display—without offering any resolution. The attitude and sass we received was the only thing that felt fresh, unlike the boots.
Moral of the story: Who needs new boots when you can get attitude at Boot Barn?

Exceptional Service at Boot Barn – Shoutout to Jonathan
Later today, President D. Santiago Jr. and staff visited Boot Barn and were warmly assisted by associate Jonathan. President Santiago showed Jonathan the condition of his hat, which had been affected by the Florida humidity and time spent in the limo.
Despite the store preparing to close, Jonathan went above and beyond to ensure the President's needs were met—without any rush or hesitation. His professionalism and customer service were outstanding.
We highly recommend stopping by the store and asking for Jonathan if you need assistance. Whether you're purchasing something new or looking to restore your hat, he’ll make sure you leave satisfied.
Five-star service all around!

Staff is unfriendly and not helpful. 4 employees walked past me and my family and did not acknowledge us. I suppose I needed to look a certain way to get service because the family who came in looking the part were greeted with laughs and giggles.

All the boots on the floor have wear on the soles from people trying them on so when we found a pair we liked for over $200, we asked for a new, unworn pair from the back. They said they don’t carry ANY in the back and everything is on the floor.
It seems hard to believe (and a terrible business model) to carry only one of everything and never have any back stock.
The staff also wasn’t very friendly and made us feel like an inconvenience.

While the staff at this location was very friendly and helpful, they are not well trained on boot/shoe fitment. But the big problem is that Boot Barn's return/exchange policy leaves much to be desired. After trying on 3 pairs in my size/width range I bought a pair of Thorogood 6" Moc Toe with the "Comp Toe" safety option as I work in construction (this is my 3rd pair of Thorogood boots) I paid for them and left. I should have known something was up when I asked for the box they came in and the staff member said "Oh, they don't come with them anymore". So, 1 hour on site and my feet were killing me, I adjusted the boot strings three times trying to get them feel comfortable and no luck. The "Comp Toe" dug into the sides and top of my foot/toes and rubbed them raw leaving several blisters from the sharp edges. After reading the return policy when I got home from work today, I realized I was out $292.86 and screwed. It appears that their return policy is more strict than Thorogood's for defective boots, their sales receipt states: "Refund/Exchanges on unworn/unwashed merchandise, tags attached, within 30 days of purchase with original store receipt." and Thorogood's website says to return to the "Authorized Seller" from where you bought them with a the original receipt for exchange, Guess who's an authorized dealer? Yep "boot barn" Please understand that I own a Brannock device and always double check my size/width before I even head out to buy new shoes/boots, and try on a few pairs to find the best fit. These boots felt alright at the store, but not after 1 hour of work. I've owned several pairs of steel and comp toe boots and understand the break-in process. I'll never buy from Boot Barn again. If you're in the Orlando area, do yourself a favor and go to Skips in Osteen.

Great store, great selection! Nico the sales associate was very pleasant. If you need a great pair of boots or a full get-up for that matter, Boot Barn has a great, quality inventory. Not cheap, but what is these days:)

Lisa and Trey were the associates who helped me during my visit. They are absolutely amazing! As I had been to two other Boot Barns in the weeks leading up to this visit, I was not impressed with the other stores and had begrudgingly forced myself to try this Orlando store as a last effort to find my work boots in the correct size, style, and color. I called ahead and Lisa helped locate the boots I was looking for and save them at the front counter until I could make the 2-hour drive to pickup the boots. Once I arrived, I found out the model number I provided her were to boots which were not safety boots. Back to the drawing board, Lisa and Trey both helped me figure out the boots I needed for work and in a fit, style, and color I wanted. Both of these associates were helpful, had pleasant attitudes, and have left a great impression on me. Although I live in Tampa, I will be shopping at this Orlando Boot Barn forever! Thanks to both Lisa and Trey (there were other very helpful and cheery store associates, but I did not catch there names...sorry!) as I am now a Boot Barn customer for life!!!

I normally have good shopping experiences here. Tonight, not so much? at least 6 employees, none of which approached me until I was waiting for a fitting room in the ladies section. Rosie was nice enough to let me in the men's fitting room to try on clothing. HOWEVER while I was changing an employee unlocked and tried to open the door AFTER I loudly said OCCUPIED when she knocked. Very frustrating experience. When the cashier asked if anyone helped us and we stated no she gave us a blank look and then asked if we had a rewards number. Really?!?!? We didn't get help, we tell you we didn't get help when you ask and not even an apology???

Looking for a few pairs of boots and not a single person approached us or greeted us upon entry… 4.4 Stars? Hard to believe
