Today there was bad attention from the girls who serve. Bad face, answering ugly, they charge 15% for service, and when paying they come back and leave if they want to leave more service. It wasn't pleasant to have lunch today. They must improve care.

I don't know why it doesn't say that they charge 15 percent on your account, when you go to pay, because when you pay it asks you additionally for Tips, it's not possible that I spent 32 dollars and between service and tips it was almost 11 dollars, 30 percent, Why don't you inform the client? This lack of clarity makes me doubt the honest iPad, therefore I do not recommend this site

The first thing I noticed when I got here, I can immediately tell that ownership has changed. I asked the server and yes she was able to confirm, but said the kitchen was the same. This place was owned and operated by a Cuban owner, who was always present and ensured standards were up to par and the staff was on point. It is now owned by a Dominican owner and as soon as you walk in music is loudly playing. No one wants to go eat and listen to bachata or loud music playing like it's a club or bar for breakfast. When ordering, they automatically take it upon themselves to give you a large without asking you. I ordered a cafe con leche and it was cold and more milk than anything else and of course they gave me their large (upcharge). I returned it immediately, the server did offer to reheat it, but I want fresh hot coffee, not reheated coffee. The food was good. We ordered Pan con Bistec, Media Noche, Tres Golpes and The Hot Cake Combo. The eggs on the hotcake combo were not good and the Mangu was lumpy and dried. The sandwiches were good. My son ordered an orange juice, again, they brought the large, and that is not a problem. The problem came when the check came, it was $8.50 for 16 ounces. When I asked about that ridiculous price, the server opened the menu and said, the price is on the menu. Ok, you know when you sit down and they get your drink order first, and then come back for the food order. That's what happened, coffee, water and orange juice, before we even looked at the menu. $8.50 really!!! "With no Vaseline, just a match and a little bit of gasoline" as Cube said!! I really liked this place before the ownership change. Needless to say, I will never be back. One other thing, they slap a 15% service charge automatically, whether you intend on tipping or not. Please be aware and don't double tip.

Got nothing against Dominicans but it’s frustrating when you come to a place looking for a specific type of food and that’s not what’s being sold. Came because I’m looking for Cuban coffee and pastries and this place is labeled as a Cuban Restaurant, and this place had no pastries, and then the girl had a hard time understanding what coffee I wanted. Any real Cuban spot would’ve known, and definitely had at least the basic pastries available at 9am (guava and cheese, guava, coco, etc…)Nothing Cuban in this place. Dominican from the moment you walk in from the music to the staff. Again nothing against Dominicans I love my people and respect the hustle but when people are looking for a specific type of product, that’s what they’re expecting. The coffee wasn’t even hitting like it would at a Cuban spot no espuma what’s so ever with that cafe bustelo lol.

Well I notice there was not a lot of people for Lunch and also they had only 3 people working. I ordered chicken, white rice and black beans and a coke. I set out side and begin to eat guess what it's frozen, peaces of food frozen, yes it put me in a terrible mood $12 , I told the woman and she didn't say sorry but was fighting with me . I don't understand why people eat out ,If I had my own place my food, my spices, my passion for food is better
