🚫MOULDY SANDWICHES AND COCKROACHES DO NOT GET FOOD HERE!🚫
I came in yesterday with 10 mins to spare before work to grab a quick hot dog and drink combo. The first fountain I try (MTN dew voltage) has no syrup. The second one I try (MTN dew Purple) has no carbonation. So I get cherry coke.
As I'm making my hotdog I open the cabinet beneath to look for buns (a mistake I always make because I forget there's a bun drawer) I look in the cabinet and a COCKROACH scurries away. Gross. Regardless; I make my hot dog and go to get ketchup. No ketchup. The attendant looks for ketchup and there's none... So I say "I don't want this hot dog then"
So I grab a Cuban sandwich from the sandwich area. Check the date.. "good thru 8/5" okay good to go...
I check out my almost $6 sandwich and leave. I get in my car and drive for a second and take a HUGE bite out of the sandwich. As I'm chewing I look down and see the sight that I have posted in the picture below: MOULD... fuzzy green and white mould down the side of the meat.. I spat out my bite and turned around
I went in there and showed the attendant. He called his boss and said "the guy here is saying there's mould" I said "NO there IS mould is right there"... I didn't speak to his boss or anything... It seemed like the boss didn't care and so they just gave me my refund and I headed to work, now a few mins late and still hungry but with ZERO appetite from having just potentially eaten mould
I will be following up. I will be contacting Circle K corporate AND the health department. This is disgusting and could have made me sick. If the expiration date was not till August 5th then that tells me it is how it was handled and stored. Maybe a broken fridge or something. Either way I doubt that management will try to get it fixed so I will be the one following up to make sure that this doesn't happen to someone else. I told the attendant he should probably remove all the sandwiches but I doubt he did that he didn't seem all that bothered by the situation... But still it wasn't his fault per say
I urge you not to get food or anything except for just gas from here. DISGUSTING

They charge fees for buying lotto or using your card at all and it was filthy inside.
Avoid this con of a store, the prices are outrageous even before the fees ... 3$ for a 16oz can of soda that's 1$ at Walmart gas stations.

It's not common for me to review gas stations/convenient stores. Typically you get what you get (good or bad) and just move on. However, this place stands out. The young man at the register was so polite. The store itself was very clean and set up very nicely. There were A LOT of snacks to choose from. I also noticed an area where they sale cooked food, but I didn't try it. It was a very pleasant experience.

Do not use your credit or debit card here. Got $40 in gas, and was charged $175 to my credit card. The remaining balance was never refunded. They charge above state maximum prices on a lot of things that they should not. The IRS and governors office should definitely investigate this location.

I came for gas but the funny looking black guy mopping the floors said the restroom was out of order. I went to 7/11 down the street instead. Also try fixing it! That's another way to lose business ?
