We had a below average experience at this place being our first time, the female employee didn't make our order correct and had poor customer service. If employees can't handle the stress of large crowds then find a better job then, on a positive note the manager fixed our order and let us pick a different flavor. I don't think we'll visit this place again :(

Delicious ice cream. It works like this, you choose a flavor (e.g. chocolate, strawberry), a topping (e.g. oreo), and a topping (e.g. caramel, nutella) and the attendant assembles it right away. The sizes are like it (small), love it (medium) and gotta have it (large).You can choose the ones already assembled, like the Strawberry blonde (Strawberry ice cream with Graham cracker pie crust, strawberries, caramel and whipped cream) which is what I chose.If possible, look at the menu beforehand to make your decision, as service is quick at the location and there is no time to think too much because of the queues.

This was our first time here. The ice cream was delicious. I loved the whole process of how they put it all together. The staff that day was so amazing. So friendly and very helpful with helping us pick what we wanted. The small conversation was great. We truly loved the whole experience. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much Jaiden, Kiki and Angel. Wish we could have tipped you aswell. I hope corporate changes that!

This was our first time at cold stone and definitely our last. The customer service is the absolute worst. We spent $45 there and every worker that we dealt with was so incredibly rude. No smile, they act as if you’re an inconvenience even when we had such a simple order. 4 out of 5 of us got the same flavor. When I asked for a receipt the cashier held it out with an angry look on her face as if it was too much to ask. My husband went in to ask for some lids and a bag and the girl he spoke to huffed as if it was such a huge undertaking. If you don’t like your job you should just quit. I worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years and I believe that customer service is so important and should be valued. This was totally unacceptable behavior.

Caveat: the only reason the service didn't get a 1 or 2 star out of 5 was the lady who checked us out made us laugh, and we made her laugh.The person making the ice cream the night we were there was not very friendly. Kind of took away from the dessert a little bit.I gotnthe cheesecake fantasy and it was quite good. I loved the berries in the ice cream as well. Very good for the value.

This was the 2nd time I visited this location. I am a chocolate lover but felt risky today. I asked Sabine (name in the receipt) if I could try the mint and coffee before purchasing and she said no, provided no explanation. I asked how can a person buy a flavor they never tried but she had no response. Seemed unfriendly, rude and bothered. Asked to speak with the manager, she questioned me as to why I wanted to speak with her. After explaining the obvious the manager came out but besides being passive aggressive she was just as bad with customer service. She provided a vague response that due to Covid taste samples were not allowed, no apology for the poor customer service. I am a yearly pass holder in Universal studios where this location stands, but I have no desire to ever spend my money on this business or any other Cold Stone. Hire happy people who enjoy dealing with the public. People like them deserve to be away from the public. Luckily this shop is in City Walk so business is always booming due to tourism so they can afford to be rude. For locals please visit other ice cream shops that actually care to provide good service.
