This place is amazing and it’s changed my life completely. I joined when I turned 40 and I had never lifted weights or done CrossFit in my life. I’m not very athletic or coordinated, and the most exercise I had done through the years was yoga, some running, and a few exercise classes at various gyms. A friend told me to try CrossFit and so I did here at Lockhart, and I’ve never left. I started with a PVC pipe to learn the lifting techniques, and then gradually moved up to using a barbell with real weight! It’s now 7 years later and I’m lifting (with mostly correct technique-ha!), I’ve made callouses and friends, learned about nutrition, and surprised myself— which is an incredibly fun feeling. Even though I still get nervous lifting over my head, and I still modify some of the workouts, I’m in better shape now than before. All of the coaches have been great and Acacia creates such amazing workouts. We warm up, we lift, we complain (ha!), we have a metcon (cardio), and then we stretch. She knows each of us and what we’re capable of, so when she programs she keeps all of that in mind. She has a gift for knowing when and how much to push. If you’re looking for great workouts and also a warm atmosphere, come and join us. It’s a lot of fun!

Amazing environment with even better people. The coaches are knowledgeable and encouraging. There is a strong sense of community and support at CrossFit Lockhart. Even on those days you don’t feel like working out the coaches and members always push you through and you always leave feeling better emotionally and physically. Love this gym ❤️

We truly love CrossFit Lock hart, there coach Acacia is amazing! She is engaged in detailed when explaining and demonstrating movements. Also is very compassionate about her attendees. Truly helps you reach your goal at any starting point in your experience.
I recommend giving it a try whether you are new to CrossFit or experienced.

I’ve been a member of CFLF since 2019. Having been there so long, I feel I can share a well rounded review. CFLH is a safe space to workout and the coaches are personable, knowledgeable, and professional. I have sustained quite a few injuries in my time here from car accidents to pulled muscles. The coaches have helped me modify and work through each WOD as needed. The community here is truly amazing and so supportive. I honestly can’t imagine myself at any other gym.

Joining CrossFit Lockhart has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health and fitness. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported by the coaches and the community. What a beautiful community and vibe at this Gym, the head coach is a passionate strong woman who pours her heart and soul into making this environment a place where ALL are loved and Welcomed , it’s visible to see Gods love shining through her and into her work. It’s very family oriented and community centered! I encourage anyone looking for a place to learn and grow their CrossFit journey with great coaches and a positive environment to come check it out !!!

CrossFit Lockhart is a wonderful place. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place to exercise no matter your skill level, beginner or expert you have found the perfect place. I first tried the place about 5 years ago, and I was immediately impressed by how friendly and knowledgeable the owners are, and everyone else was very friendly.

ONE MONTH REVIEWHere is my experience after a month at CrossFit in Lockhart. I give gyms at least a month to understand their culture. I met with 3 of the trainers which includes the owners. I have been working with elite trainers for years when I played college football, so I can sense if they know if a trainer knows what they are doing. This was my first gym since the pandemic, so it has been a while. The first thing I notice is that the trainers come in with open arms and focus on your goals. I am experienced in weightlifting, but not Olympic weightlifting, so I am pretty much a novice. It was nice for them to ask those questions.They meet you where you at in your workout journey and if you are new to Olympic weightlifting, they will start you very light. They focus on technique and not heavy lifting, so this is a safe gym for people who are inexperienced. They will adjust if there is a workout that is too intense for you. So, if you are a novice to Olympic weightlifting or exercise this is a safe place to come too.A+ for safetyTimes and hours: They have multiple time slots to choose from. For people that enjoy group classes, the hardest part is that there are only a few slots for certain times a week. The goods with CrossFit Lockhart are that they have multiple slots to choose from. There are late afternoon times and slots that are as early as 5am. I am usually in the 6am group, with a nice group of people there. I hate when other gyms would have few options to choose from. There are multiple slots, and they are open 6 days a week. I’ll give them anA+ for time options.Rates: I am not going to give the rates here but, I believe there are a couple of options. For someone that experienced both gym memberships that are $10 a month and overcrowded and personal trainers that charge around $50 per session, this is probably the best deal for both worlds. You get great coaching, but with a small group of people. So, I am there 4x a week. With a personal trainer that would be $200 per month for one week with a trainer or $800 for the month!!! I can tell you that you are paying WAAYY LESS HERE AT CROSSFIT LOCKHART. I am paying a lot less and getting more! ?A+ for costCulture: Ben and Acacia are amazing people! They create a SAFE environment that makes you feel excited to go workout. The trainers are great and make the experience comforting and nice. I mean they even bring their dog to the gym. I think his name is Obi. He just lies there most of the time and it’s comforting. I can only speak to the group I am usually with, but the men and women that I am usually with are great people. We motivate each other and it will help you mentally on a tough workout.A++ for culture.Overall: You should at least come for a free trial to check it out. I think it is a 3-day trial, but after the 2nd day I knew I wanted to come. I lost weight, I am more flexible, and have more energy after a month. It’s worth checking out ?

Well equipped to just about anything you'd want to do and well maintained. Simple concept and geared towards weightlifting but with plenty of space for functional and cardio equipment.
