The process was fast and easy but the online price said first month was free and I was still charged for first month. I moved my storage bc of pest problems and as soon as I walked to my door there was a rat in a trap at the door still alive. Upon exiting my code didn’t work and I was stuck inside the gate until someone was able to let me out.

Was helping my friends move out and Joshua took the time out his day to help us throw things in the trash he was super nice and really awesome help. This CubeSmart location has become a complete disaster. There’s a rat infestation that’s been going on for months. I’ve reported it multiple times, and the response is always, “We’re working on it” — with no resolution. Meanwhile, the required insurance doesn’t even cover rodent damage. What’s the point of paying for it?
The door closest to my unit has been broken for months, so I have to walk three doors down just to access my unit — and I have a disability. It’s a huge inconvenience, and they still haven’t fixed it.
Customer service has gone downhill since Celina left. She was the only one who actually cared and tried to help. Now, the current male staff member (who says he’s going to be taking over the property) is completely unhelpful and dismissive. If he’s in charge, I can only imagine this place getting even worse.
The gate doesn’t work half the time, the climate control is a joke, and the units are completely dark unless you bring your own flashlight or install lights yourself.
It’s frustrating to be paying good money for a space that doesn’t work — and the worst part is, CubeSmart knows they can get away with it because in Florida, storage laws offer tenants very little protection. They take advantage of that.
I’m moving my belongings out ASAP and strongly recommend avoiding this place.
