My husband and I reserved our seats two months ago because we preferred two adjacent aisle seats for easy access to powder rooms. When we walked up to Delta's gate agent, we were handed new boarding papers. To our dismay, Delta reassigned us two MIDDLE seats in two Different rows. When we asked if they could change our seats back, we were told they could not do anything because they oversold the flight. Do not know why we were singled out to move when our traveling companions got to keep their seats.

This airline in my opinion has gone downhill horribly. I had by far the worst travel experience of my life yesterday with Delta. Not only did they change our gate number 7 times. But they delayed 4 times and were not giving any one info on what was happening. Because of this I was already in a panic mode. And to make it worse, one of the employees working (a man who I didn't get his name) sent me into a full blown panic attack and spiral before boarding. I told the employee that I was about to have a panic attack and he didn't care clearly about my well being before boarding. He literally forced me to rearrange my entire suitcase not even 2 minutes before walking down the corridor to board. I had specific things in places I didn't want checked because they could break. I voiced this to him and he did not give a single care. He was rude in his tone of voice and condescending toward me making me feel like a complete fool. I wish I took a picture or got his name because I would absolutely be sharing that here if I did. The other employees were laughing at me when I didn't understand what I was being asked to do. And I hope he sees this review knowing what it did to me my entire flight yesterday. I had a panic attack for nearly an hour after, absolutely sobbing in my seat. It was extremely uncomfortable and a truly horrible experience. I will be filing a formal complaint and warning people not to fly with them. I think Delta really should have more training and be well versed/more educated in mental health/illness and autism. Shame on you. That's all I gotta say. To that man that sent me in a full blown panic attack, you're the reason why people have issues flying. I'll never fly Delta again. Back to Jet Blue I go! I should have never switched.

It's ridiculous how we paid so much money for first class and the ticket doesn't even come with a lounge access because the airplane doesn't come with delta one or whatever that is. I will never pay for delta flights

Worst customer service I have ever seen. Chaos trying to board flights. Slow and incompetent . Never again.

I literally don't think I've ever had a good experience flying delta. Get it together or halve your prices to reflect the shitty service you provide

I have been very happy with my trave experience with Delta airlines. They always give me a good seat and answer all my questions that I have. The flight attendants are really kind and thoughtful. The planes are also very clean!

I can usually count on Delta for travel in the states. They're okay. I don't really have any loyalty to any airline, and I will take the best deal a lot of the time. This usually has me on a Delta flight. In December 2022 I had a total of four Delta flights, two to get me to Orlando (SMF to ATL, ATL to MCO), and two to get me back to Sacramento (MCO to LAX, LAX to SMF). I've had good luck in the past with direct flights, but this time I followed the deals to layover land. Sometimes they do annoying things to those of us who buy basic tickets, like on my flight back to CA from Orlando I couldn't get my seat assigned at online check in. I had to stand in line at the desk at the gate (once a gate was actually decided on, good thing I arrive more early than necessary each time I fly) to receive my seat assignment. I think it was a glitch of some kind with their system, and I did get an aisle seat, so I was satisfied. The in flight comp snack situation is nice. Would be nice if they offered a comp meal for a four hour flight, but that will cost you. They had nuts, sun chips, biscoff cookies, and granola bars to choose from, with a choice of non alcy drinkie. Ginger Ale for whatever reason has been my plane bevvy choice since I was a kid. They also offered coffee and water during the four hour flight. They've got the booze if you've got the $. Each seat back had a personal movie screen attached and the touch screen usually worked well. I had one flight on the way to Orlando from Atlanta where it wasn't working, boo. I caught up on some movies I never got around to watching. Imitation Game on the way (bad choice, started crying then tried to watch an episode of The Office to cheer me up and had to stop because I was laughing too loud and can't be that person on the plane), and Theory of Everything on the way back. And 2005 Pride & Prejudice for comfort, don't ask me how many times I've seen that. Even with my book and switch in my bag, it was nice to have the option of movies, games, tv shows, and even live tv! I could watch my Portugal National Team lose right there in the plane! Happy World Cup 2022! So, to sum up, Delta gets a four star for recent experiences and I don't feel like reviewing more than one airline page. If you're going to nitpick, there's plenty, but I was taken care of where it was important. There were pretty bad delays in Atlanta, but that's not anyone's fault. The other three flights were fine. I get what I pay for. Except for when it comes to Spirit, yikes. Before I go, I will mention also that they sometimes send you a text or email offering free bag check if it's going to be a full flight. NO way in heck I was doing that on the way with wedding stuff in my carry on, but on the way back sure, I let them do it, and had no issues. Normally, it costs to check a bag, of course. I like to not unless I'm headed overseas. See you soon Delta. p.s. Delta terminal makeover in LAX looks nice. Wow. First time I've ever been through LAX without one complaint. Unless you count the Dodger imagery.

This was probably one of the best travel experiences I have had in a while, as the timing couldn't have been better; since, my trip was not a happy one... Everyone that I encountered treated me with courtesy and were helpful and accommodating. The planes themselves were clean, and the entertainment system was more than adequate. I also thought that the Wi-Fi rates were very reasonable which allowed me to stay in touch, do some work, and even return an amazon order. The only disappointment was when I was chatting with an amazon agent and kept emphasizing that I am communicating from 33,000 feet in air. He never acted surprised... What gives... How many people chat with him from 33,000 feet in the air. Anyway, I digress... Delta even offered to check in my bag for free. On top of all that, the app was perfect and kept me updated.

Flight got pushed back an hour initially, then another 30 mins which would have given us 10 mins between connecting flights. Then our flight got pushed back ANOTHER hour which would have stranded us in Salt Lake City. Their excuse is they don't have staff to fly the plane, which, fine, but how do you schedule a flight with no staff for it? Coming to our destination their planes were dirty, smudges of dirt and god knows what else on the walls and seats. So after feeling like I need to bathe in Hand sanitizer many of us realize that our seats are broken and won't recline which is a doozy on a 7hr flight. Being a frequent traveler I can validate that delta is not worth your money. Come to find out it's because pilots are on strike for delta which I support, but what I don't is the fact that we had to fight delta to get a refund on said flights that the pilot didn't show up for (kinda get why their own employees don't support them).Highly recommend flying Alaska or southwest but never delta.

Utter chaos checking in and checking bags. There's a woman and a police officer "directing" you to a line and then once you wait in it to the point you get back up to them, they direct you to another line, and then maybe just maybe, direct you back to your original line. She doesn't ask you the questions needed to sort you, just observes you and tells you. If you look like you need an international flight, go right. If you don't, go left. You have to check yourself in before approaching the counter, and have to print baggage tags, but you can't if you're military or international so we're back to the back of the right lane. As the worker quoted to me, "I can't really answer questions, I just put numbers in." Good luck.

Thank you Delta. My family and I faced an entire day of flight cancellations and delays. Time that should have been spent on a much needed vacation was waisted sitting in the airport terminal or on the tarmac. Our 6 hour travel day turned into 18 hours of maintenance problems, excuses and more delays. The original flight, and the first rebooked set of flight were hours delayed due to maintenance issues causing us to miss connecting flights. Then we sat on the tarmac for 2 hours at our final destination again due to maintenance issues of the plane using our assigned gate. Apologies just don't cut it after the first 30 minutes of delays!

I wish I flew Delta more. I have no status and loyalty points with Delta, so I only fly them when they're the best option. They have some pretty good direct flight options to cities where my usual airlines are either too expensive or have a connection. I absolutely love the fact that you can use points to "upgrade" to comfort plus from normal coach (or whatever it's called these days). I'll probably never fly Delta enough to earn a free ticket (especially now that those are going up in the number of miles needed). I wish AA did that. Delta makes it easier. They DO serve alcohol which is a plus over some other airlines, although I think that's coming back soon to others. Their Snacks are not much to write home about, even in Comfort+. They could do a better job there.

I have flight booked from Orlando to Atlanta to California. Original flight from Orlando got cancelled on Christmas Day. New flight supposed to depart at 2 pm, then pushed to 4:30 pm and finally, 5:15 pm. On top of that, reserved seatings in front , push back to the plane because plane is fully booked. Gate agent is rude and talk craps to this customer. Worst experience on an airline ever. Will call and complain.

I like to write my reviews in the order of when I used a business' services. If I write a review of a business out if order, its either one of two reasons: 1) Your business went above and beyond. You totally rocked it! 2) Your business terribly messed up and/or treated me horribly. In other words, you completely flopped! This review will be because of reason #2. Usually, my experiences with Delta are good. But every few trips, Delta messes up. The thing is, when they mess up, its a titanic bungle. This one was just as bad as my 2019 debacle with them on a vacation to Boston. So this was a business trip I had to Orlando to a conference. The flight over there was good. The conference was informative, the hotel divine and the nights were tons of fun at Universal Orlando. Its the flight back that went awry. My flight was for 5:00 pm going to Detroit. I had a connecting flight to Fort Wayne so I could then drive home. I saw the time creeping up... flight was delayed... well after it should have been departed. No announcements that flights were going to be delayed. No explanations. Nothing! We finally get on probably half an hour after we were supposed to have boarded. My in flight experience wasn't very good as my inflight entertainment screen wouldnt work... joy. When i landed i noticed i was most likley not going to make my connecting flight to Fort Wayne. I have seen other flights were the staff was cognizant of this. They would make arrangements to hold the next plane a little longer. Have someone from Delta outside to tell you how to more quickly reach the plane or if not possible make new flight arrangements there. The staff even tell the other passengers to let off those with connecting flights off first. Did any of this happen? No! Since i checked both bags I had, i try to get thru the crowd... all for some stupid blonde blue eyed Karen to stop me and give me a lecture about waiting my turn. When i explained hey i am going to miss my flight. She said it was my problem and that other people need to get somewhere too. The flight staff saw this... they did nothing. So i get off my plane and I run and i run and i run... i dont make it. So i have to find the area where u can get a new flight. The next flight isn't until 8:00 am the next morning. This has never happened to me and i ask the Delta employee, what about my bags. Oh they will be with u on the plane to take in the morning. I find out later this was a lie... they flew in earlier. I do find out something interesting from the delta employee though. The flight was delayed because a flight attendant was late?!?! Why couldnt they leave without her. Cant the other flight attendants pick up the slack? So i miss my next plane, but hers is held. Seems to me this airline inconvenienced me to convenience themselves. I get hotel accommodations from Delta all at the Wyndham Garden. I am told to go wait for the shuttle. 20 minute wait. The place is rated 1 1/2 stars on yelp. It is not the best hotel... but they put me up in it. Wonderful reviews too. I loved how check in has a hard glass/plastic barrier in between employees and people staying.... Totally makes you feel safe. Hotel looks like an old 70s hotel in between remodels. I had no extra clothes so I had to stick with what I had for the day. I order some food on Uber eats and lay on the bed and put on an old episode of Friends to try to relax and let go of my anger thru laugher. I catch the last five minutes of an episode... and the power goes out for the entire grid. I had no ac. I had no light. Do you know how difficult it is to eat in pitch dark? Or go to the bathroom? To make matters worse, I have severe sleep apnea... i didnt have my machine with me because it was in my bag. Not that it would have worked without power. Even with the length of this review there are not enough words to say how utterly Delta failed me. And of course I ask myself Why didn't they put me up in the Westin inside the airport. I bet they didnt lose power because the Airport always has power. So i start boarding the next da
