Went gun ranging for the 1st time on a Sunday, it's little hidden but it's crossing right near Murdock Rd. Not fronting, I felt a bit intimated walking in due to not knowing much about guns. Hubby and I were very curious on trying though so it also helped keep us eager and open minded. The staff there were completely cool and professional. Also, not sure if it's protocol but one of the staff thoughtfully came in to help guide me on how to stand and shoot. I appreciated it since my shot accuracy was pretty off. Price wise, I recall paying around $60 bucks for the rental gun, gear, and ammo (50 rounds). It definitely leaves you with something to talk about at the dinner table.

My boyfriend and I went to this gun range for the first time and our instructor, Mike was so amazing! It was my bf's first time shooting so Mike was super informative, made sure we know all safety measures when practicing with the gun. He also stayed with us for our session just to make sure we felt comfortable. He was really nice and down to earth. Highly recommend him as your trainer if it's your first time!

After sampling a few ranges in the Orlando area, I have to say I misjudged Orlando Shooting Sports as a business. My initial gripes were clouded by the perpetual presence of loud, desperate losers trying to treat it like their own personal range. There's something so terminally off-putting about needing to spend any amount of time around the emptiest of human forms as they try their hardest to shoot rented guns with the most dude-bro-ness possible and then frantically turn their heads in hopes of seeing the girl they dragged to the range with them drop her phone as she sets up her next Bumble date and literally dissolve into a puddle of carnal desire and insist on getting pregnant right there on the lane reloading table in the heat, in front of everyone, because in the single moment of him awkwardly firing one 5.56 and missing the paper target six feet away she has decided that there is no more perfect, no more manly man in the world. But when Chad realizes that this girl doesn't care that he can pull a trigger and miss a still target, he continues to shoot and yell with as much manufactured masculinity as possible, desperately trying to yell and whoop louder than the gun itself, for fear that even a hunk of plastic and metal can out-macho him. She scrolls through instagram as he has his one-man pissing contest; and when she searches #orlandoshootingsports she sees group after group of these sad, low-T-and-trying-to-hide-it bros posing for dumb selfies with their firearms and pointing them at each other, behind the line, wherever...because that's just the kind of customer that comes to OSS. So, I am grateful for my double ear protection as it muffles this inconsolable sadness as I plink away with my dinky little .22 revolver, withstanding the burns and flying 5.56 casings from Chad the next lane over and I sympathize with the staff of OSS, who I initially thought were rude, but who were just trying their hardest in a cruel world that punished them for having Chad and Chad and other Chad come by his workplace and embarrass men the world over. I love that this range respects my humanity and common sense when I show up. I pay, put my eyes and ears on, go in, have a good time, and leave without any issues. No metal detectors, no swearing on the Bible that I won't break range rules, the man-to-man understanding that I'm not shooting steel core and aiming right for their hardware. These guys treat their customers (the good ones, anyway) like human beings who are responsible and respectful of firearms. And while I would love to see them crack down more on fratboi idiocy and maybe implement a discriminatory policy that bans anyone wearing a flat-bill fitted 'Bama cap or who drives a Dodge with a "Local" sticker on the window where the L is an upside down Florida, I appreciate how the staff tries their hardest to be professional with new shooters, buyers, and just about anyone else who passes by.

This is my favorite indoor range. All the employees are awesome. Eddie trained us and had stayed very supportive throughout our journey practicing and training. Everyone is super chill. Its a fun no-frills place but thats what you need to train. They have a great selection of guns in their adjoining store. My wiife and I are regulars and love it here. Kudos!

Been here before and thought it to be reasonable. Today, not so much! I have my own gun and protective gear and it cost me $133 for a hundred bullets (range) and an hour range time. I feel like I got ripped the hell off. Nephew went to Oakride, same day with 2 friends and paid $88 dollars for all three of them and more ammo. Seriously disappointed! Feel like I was overcharged by far. We also waited 20 minutes to get in range when 5 of the six lanes were empty.

Great classroom environment for both D and G license. They also have a gun range which is convenient so that there is no traveling to a third party.
