This is my second time coming to this shop. I live kinda far away. But both times they have something for me to add to my collection.
The owners are pretty awesome and realistic with their prices. I like being able to stop somewhere and physically see, and hold something before I buy it.
It was nice stopping in today.

This store is so “AMAZING!!!” It is a flashback to my childhood. The merchandising of this store is so beautiful. The toys & collectables they have are incredible. The owner of this Store knows how to run a business and merchandise their toys/collectables so perfectly. If I could own my own store this would be it!! A true must-see in Orlando!!

terrible business, was told by a lady over the phone that the owner steve would check out my stuff and he would be able to buy the items i mentioned. when i brought all my items the owner reminded me of a middle school kid who never shared toys on how he was trying "educate" me in something he clearly knew nothing of and wouldn't want to offer more than $25 for items that recently had sold online for way more, clearly i knew i wasnt expecting the amount online to be paid out to me but he told me to go to other toy places and that he doesnt take in no nerf guns or WWE action figures or pokemon collectibles. the whole store is a joke and has more junk of horror and fake legos than anything anyone would be interested in. if i could give zero stars i would

Awesome store with all kinds of vintage and hard-to-find toys and collectibles! Super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Tons of inventory, and new items every time I go there. Pricing is always fair and reasonable. They also operate Rebel Printing, colocated at the store and have printed many custom backdrops for my displays. Just amazing. Plus they sponsor and host cool events! I drive an hour to get there, but it’s worth the drive from anywhere to visit this collectors’ candy store!

Echo Base is a fantastic toy shop in Orlando. Close to the airport, I’m stopping by every time I’m in Orlando. Scott has a great variety of toys and was super helpful. He also has a great Instagram page that I’ve been following for a while. Was so excited to finally visit in person. Very good prices and selection of new and vintage.

I was torn between 3 and 4 stars, but because my biggest concern has such an impact, I "rounded down". There is a really cool collection here. Some of the prices are higher than what I found online. I try to make sure I see several AVAILABLE options to make my comparisons; not just one random search. However, most everything is very competitive and if you're willing to have a conversation you can negotiate a little bit. The biggest issue I have is the hours of operation. Right in the middle of the day with very limited time to get there after normal common working hours. It would have to be a quick rush for sure because the location requires you to deal with Orlando's crappiest traffic areas to get here. This is not a store I want to show up to at 5:45. I have done it before and it's very clear they are trying to close up right at 6. This is my most honest review without any emotion. I see the owner regularly claps back at reviews where people provide a not-so-positive opinion, but this is a solid 3 Star Review. I'd say a High C grade for the overall. B+ for selection, B- for pricing, but a low C to a high D for availability.
