Terrible experience with my first refill. The date scheduled (yesterday) did not show-no call, no communication until the next day when I receive an email stating they will deliver in the next 3 days and is subject to change. WHAT?!?!?
As they require this delivery (hundreds of dollars) to be pre-paid and don't show up, I called to speak with a representative. Was not satisfied with the agent's response to my concerns and requested a manager to speak to and was refused.
This company is not worth dealing with this hassel. I called back and cancelled my order, (which the rep did not ask why or try to keep my business and happily processed the cancellation) going with another gas company who is dependable and provides good customer service and customer satisfaction.

This review is specific to customer service I received on the telephone both yesterday and today. I was blessed to be assigned to Amber who was thoughtful, professional and thorough on BOTH calls (I was thrilled when she answered today). Ferrell has a bit of a monopoly around here, and I am paying about 40% more (not 5 stars) than I should for convenience, but her service and spirit make it ALMOST worth it. Thank you Amber, you are a 5 star brand representative!

Ferrellgas was my only hope to fuel my house generator. Since I had no propane fueled appliances in my house no local propane provider would supply the fuel needed. Although I had to purchase two 120 gallon tanks to operate the generator, I considered the purchase worth the investment to not loose a refrigerator/freezer worth of food which has occurred the past two summers while away from home. Their field technicians were on time every step of the process that was scheduled. I am well pleased with their service.

I had called on 4/13/2024 around 5:00-5:30pm, and explained that I had a leak and was requesting that I wanted to get placed on their schedule for a refill (as it has been my experience that it takes a couple of days). I own my tanks, and the only service Ferrellgas has ever provided for me was filling them.
The lady that took the call explained to me that it's an emergency and that she would dispatch a person. I told her it wasn't an emergency that I put the system in myself, and own the tanks. I explained that I had already turned off the tanks and was going to replace the tee that was cracked. She insisted that it was their policy when there is a leak. I told her that she would be wasting someone's time in send them out and not to do it. Then I told to forget about it and that I would call back Monday to get on the schedule.
Now fast forward to 11:00-11:30pm (almost 6 hours later) my youngest daughter comes in my room and tells me that a man with a big truck is walking around my property. So I run out with my protection and find a man wondering around my yard. I yell out to him that he better get off my property (He sees that I have protection) and he starts heading off.
Now that I start to figure out that this is a rep from this company. I put my protection away and head toward the top of my property and finally catch up with this guy, and apologize for the confusion. He is rightfully shook up and after a conversation with the police he leaves.
Now this week I have called the company 3 different days and left messages to speak with the district manager (Grant) and he has yet to return my call to address this situation.....
I believe that from the start in my conversation with the lady that took my call should have been handled differently, and then the time that it took to handle a supposedly emergency leak was very horrible (5-6 hours). Then to top it off the management for the company just want to ignore this situation.

Last delivery was the worst driver tagged my tank for no apparent reason took a couple days to get resolved been waiting for management for a contact call to see what the issue was but never got that call still waiting to this day very unprofessional from driver to dispatcher to person that took initial call very disappointed with the level of service received/not received I will spend my money with a company that appreciates a customer

Called a few times for delivery and said that my account is red tagged from service dept with no reason on why it’s red tagged. They said that it was red tagged September 1, 2023 last delivery and no one acted on it (service dept said that it may be a leak). So frustrating and same reasons every time I call. Service scheduler hasn’t responded to all the requests/notes for follow up. They could have blown my house with unprofessional company.

I haven't actually had a chance to use this company. I called them on August 4 and completed an application. I paid $159 and someone came out and told us that we would need a 250 gallon tank to heat our pool. We were told that we needed to get a permit before the work could start and that they would be in contact with us by October to install. On October 12, I called to see where we were with the permitting. They indicated that I needed to sign an application. I told them I never received the application, and no one had indicated early on that I would get one. I was told someone would call me back. By Monday, October 16, I still had not heard back from the company, so I called back. I explained the whole story again, and they explained that someone would call me back. Today, October 18, I had to call twice (I was disconnected) to yet again ask for my deposit back or to have someone get in touch with me. I was told that Chris, the service manager would be calling me right back. It is 3:45 and still no call. I am not sure what is happening here, but their customer service is not good.

Excellent company, fast service if you need a fill, and outstanding Customer Service. Why not 5 stars? Love Ferrell Gas, but twice in a row after I have ordered a fill and specified the number of gallons to be delivered, I receive significantly more gallons than I requested. I have found them to be very helpful in payment plans, but the larger bill is frustrating.

Everything goes smooth, quick and good
