We arrived from England to find that my disabled wife's mobility walker did not make it so without the help of Randy at Florida Mobility Products the first four days of our holiday would have been wasted. Randy came to the rescue and we rented a wheelchair for my wife. I can not thank him enough for his help in letting our holiday begin. We would really like to say thank you for his 5 star help.

I'm only giving this place 2 stars because the equipment was decent. Other than that, I do not recommend renting from them. At the time of my rental I picked up from the store and was charged a $100 deposit. At the end of our trip our flight plans had changed, and we would be leaving Orlando prior to the store opening hours. I called the day before to ask if they would be able to pick up from my hotel (which most rental companies offer free of charge) and Pete told me that wouldn't be a problem. Fast forward a day later, I still don't see that they refunded my deposit. So I call to ask why, and I'm informed that they are charging me $75 to pick up the scooter 12 minutes away. I was never informed this outrageous fee until it was time to get my deposit back. This is super unethical.

My mom was having issues with her 2nd chair from this company, and the owner came out, evaluated it, and deemed it unacceptable. He took the broken chair and replaced it with a new one. He moved the old chair she had kept from the bedroom into the living room for us, too. He has communicated with us about timelines and expectations with the new chair, as well.He ensured mom had the chair she liked, and that fit her. He went above and beyond to correct the issue. He really cares about his clients and making sure they are satisfied.Thank you, James. We appreciate you.

The people at Florida mobility products were so wonderful During my recent Disney world vacation. After being able to bring my own lift on board The airplane, Iand trying to other lift rental companies, Florida mobility products came through for me. They were very courteous and helpful and delivered The transfer lift to the hotel after hours. I think them so much for bending backwards for me!

after about a week of using the wheelchair, a piece from the footplate broke, and we needed to replace it. When the wheelchair was purchased, we asked about warranty and Rand told us whatever issues we had, to just come back and they would take care of it. Well, we went back and Rand wasn’t there. Another man, with long light brown hair assisted us but he had a very poor attitude, even before we arrived to the store. We called because the store looked closed, the open sign was off and the lot was empty, so he seemed irritated that we had called to make sure the store was open. He responded with, “obviously we’re open, there’s equipment outside”.. we just wanted to make sure because of course the customers that come to this location aren’t able to walk well, didn’t want to make my mom make an unnecessary trip out the vehicle. He wasn’t very helpful when asked to replace the foot plate piece, he seemed upset and irritated that he had to go in the back and check for a replacement. And claimed it was our fault, without allowing us to properly explain what happened. When he went back, He didn’t bother to check for the correct one, l the correct side or even measurement. We felt very pressured to just leave without checking, which made me have to go back in the store, 3 times because the pieces he kept trying to replace, weren’t fitting properly. We checked them before we left the lot, which we should’ve have even been made to feel. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming and a complete, opposite experience from the first time we went and purchased the wheelchair. I truly hope something is done about the matter, no one should have to feel like that; it’s unwelcoming and does not allow customers to want to come back. And I don’t think this location is bad but perhaps they could use a better employee than the one present that day, Monday 8/28/23, around 1:10pm to be exact.
The gentleman that helped us purchase the wheelchair, the store manager, Rand; was very helpful and friendly. He assisted in adding a piece to the wheelchair, that made it more comfortable to rest with the leg injury.

This is the kind of place you wish you could give 10 stars! I went with my mom today, who wanted an updated Rollator. We were actually just trying them out to see what's out there... Rand was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable! We told him what we were looking for and how mom uses it. He showed us everything we asked for and made very helpful suggestions on another option that we hadn't considered. The Rollator he suggested had a dual function (Rollator/wheelchair) and was the same price of the one we were looking at/considering . My mom gets nervous when salespeople are pushy and was worried she would end up with something she would not like or be disappointed with. We visited a different store yesterday and were made to feel very uncomfortable, pressured to buy what they had, and mom didn't even like the color of it. Not to mention, for a simple Rollator, it was way overpriced! Not the case at Florida Mobility Products! Mom actually left with the dual model after testing it out at the store and sitting on it for a while. She absolutely loves it and is very happy! We will be returning to buy other items that she will need in the future as her condition changes and Rand has it. The price was extremely reasonable, and we couldn't have been more blessed than to find Rand today! Are you looking for any durable medical equipment (DME)? Look no further! Pay Rand a visit, he'll take care of you! They also carry a large selection of other home care needs. Call him if you are not sure he carries what you're looking for or if you have any questions!
