I want to start off with the hotel itself. The hotel was leaking from the ceiling and just had buckets everywhere so the water doesn’t get on the floor. Then we get up to our room level and walk out the elevator and hit get with a disgusting smell of either wet carpet or mold so strong that was in the room as well. We then go back down to the lobby asking when the next shuttle will be and come to find out the shuttle service closes at 630. Therefore you have to get the universal on your own for Halloween Horror Nights EVEN THOUGH they have plastered everywhere Halloween Horror Nights advertisement and even sells tickets for it in the lobby? but sure fine. After a very long exhausting night at HHN, we finally get back up to our room for it to STILL SMELL like mold, We also take a shower to come to find out the shower drain doesn’t work. When i go to check out I’m told to complain to a website and the website was just for the little store for the hotel so the store had to tell me to call customer service. it’s been a month called them three times with no response and still haven’t heard anything for the complaints I put in. So not only is the hotel it’s self a complete DUMP for being a “partnered hotel” with universal their management team can not even sit here and give me the decency to even respond to my concerns for the stay. Please spend the extra money and book with an ACTUAL universal studios hotel that’s located right across the street. This hotel does not deserve any business if this is how they see and treat their guest, especially disappointed that Marriott is even associated with Four Points Hotel.
Nearby activities: Theme parks, mini golf, etc.

I have to give my 5 ⭐ to this hotel. It is great, clean, good service, kind personnel, but above everything, I had left my watch in the room when I left, and when I noticed it, I came back and asked the receptionist if they had seen it, surprisingly she opened a notebook and looked for notes on my room, there was a note about the watch, then she searched in a place and came with my watch saved in a little bag with notes. This just demonstrates the respect for guests that the hotel has, and the honesty of its staff. ??. I will come back here just for that big gesture.
Rooms: Rooms are comfortable, good space, good temperature, you have the enough amenities.
Safety: Very safe.

The rooms are roach infested which makes it dangerous to keep your bags open in the room. Or your mouth open while you sleep.
Also, make sure you dont leave anything in the room upon check out. Housekeeping will steal your nice items and return to you what doesn't fit them. Too much disappointment for such a short stay. Maybe just find somewhere else to stay. I wish I had.

Four Points by Sheraton is a great place for a short staycation. It is conveniently located near Universal studios. Complimentary shuttle buses were provided. The buses are dropped off at Universal studios/City Walk only. To Volcano bay, you will need to get off at Universal and take a bus from lane 3. On the way back to the hotel we took the bus to Dockside which was easier than taking two buses. Dockside was a 5-10 min walk directly opposite of Four Points.
The beauty of place is that it is close to restaurants (egg-celente, red lobster, ihop). Additionally Walgreens is just walking distance, albeit if you’re not keen to walk, there are plenty of ‘lime’ scooters/bikes you can rent along the way.
The room is spacious and clean. There was a small fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Glad they offered ample parking spaces however at a cost of $15 a night. I didn’t use the amenities so I couldn’t comment on that. I did make use of the water and coffee station which were available daily.

Really like this place for the most part. Staff was super friendly, rooms were great. We were there for two nights. The second night the AC was not able to keep up, temperature was actually rising during the night . Great breakfast, normal Orlando pricing. I only have two real complaints about the hotel. It was the amount of people smoking right outside the front door. Please move the smoking area. TOO MUCH air freshener in the lobby. Was burning my sinuses and I could taste it.
Update: 11/4/23
This will have been our second time staying. The property is nice, the staff is nice, the rooms are nice. Our AC in the room seemed to lose control with the wall control and kept going down. The temps got down to 56 degrees overnight. I enjoyed it, but my wife did not. The only complaint we had was of the hotel was the lobby. The amount of air fresheners being used was overbearing while standing in the lobby and near the front desk.
Update 10/18/24: Rooms are nice, could hear the TV over the AC without raising volume to be very loud. Bathroom was nice, but I did kill a German cockroach in there. The okay button on the remote had to be pressed very hard down to get it to work. There is an option to use my streaming device on the TV, but I cannot control the volume of the actual TV.

It only takes 5 minutes to drive to the Huanying Hotel every time. Room service is provided every other day. It is very convenient to go to Huanying with a shuttle. A taxi only costs 10 knives.

Fifth stay in one year. GREAT location. Staff is awesome! Rooms are dated and need a makeover but who stays in the room all day? Bed is comfy.
Nearby activities: Universal Studios ... about a mile. Easy to walk to.

Stayed on the top floor in a suit. Had a wonderful view. You could the fireworks from one of the parks. For sure, I will save this one to my favorites. Food and drinks were delicious.
Rooms: Top floor had a wonderful view
Nearby activities: You could see most parks from your room.
Within 5 miles from universal.
Food and drinks: Made a great pizza and good mixed drinks at a good price
Noteworthy details: You can see the fireworks show from one of the parks from the top floor, room 2114. I'm sure any of the upper rooms on the side.

Excellent budget option hotel near Universal and Islands of Adventure. The service was great. Room was very clean. Would recommend you give it. There is also a first watch accross the street which is the perfect breakfast spot.
Rooms: Clean and cozy.
Nearby activities: Minigolf is a great option literally next to the hotel.
Food and drinks: First watch accross the street and shopping center with few options.
