I actually lost a bit of weight during Covid so I bought all new pants and donated my old ones. Drove up. They have bins right at each parking spot. Drop the clothes in there. Employee asked if I needed a receipt, and off I went. Super easy and convenient.

Not perfect, but this Goodwill DX Donation Center tries very hard to please. Prompt, polite and helpful.

It tickles me to read about some folks complaining about prices at this location since it is donation ONLY and NOT a store. Perhaps they are confused and thought they were reviewing the Waterford Lakes Storefront? Regardless, I have lived here in the Avalon Park neighborhood for going on 6 years now. Every time that my family and I have come to donate, it has been a pleasant experience. The folks working here always greet you with a smile and ask if you need help unloading. Of course they do sorta over-ask about if you need a receipt for taxes or not like every single dang time, but I strongly suspect that they may have been trained to do so from the start or brainwashed by some corporate video propaganda when they got hired. I say this because I have seen employees come and go over the years, but they ALWAYS ASK about if you're wanting that lil old slip of paper as if the second coming of Christ depended on it. Other than that though, everyone I have ever met over at the Avalon Goodwill donation center has been super helpful, polite and down right sweet. That's just my two cents. Other folks experiences may differ. Those who have reviewed negatively though... I suspect that they tried to donate rubbish OR, now hear me out on this one, they might have come in with attitude to begin with. Ya reap what you sow and positive energy is better than negative always. And one last kernel of wisdom: If you could not picture yourself spending money to buy that item in question that you are donating, chances are you should not be donating that said item. Toss it. Use that Mary Kondo "does it spark joy" enlightenment. If it sparks disgust, throw it away.

Very convenient location to drop off donations quickly plus the workers/ volunteers there are so kind and efficient. They meet you at the door, go to your car and help you unload the items for donation. More power to Goodwill for the good work you do to the community!

They are extremely picky about the donations they take. Turned down a cooler because "it looked old". Pretty surprising for a company that has 0 expenses on inventory. Couple that with their top execs taking huge salaries and them severely underpaying their disabled workers, I think I'll go to salvation army instead.

Noticing prizes going up considering that the merchandise is from donations I am not pleased, I also donate.
