My husband and I bought a used car from this dealership in July of 2022. The finance department was able to get us in a vehicle, which was great. We were there for four hours and were the last customers in the place and were there past closing time. When we left, they had switched our license plate to the new car, but I noticed my license plate frame was missing. It had a lot of sentimental value to me and can't be replaced. When I asked about it, I was told it was thrown away. As we pulled up to the traffic light beside the lot, the check engine light came on. The next morning, I also noticed our license tag sticker was missing from the plate that was switched over. When we called the dealership about the check engine light, they said they would take a look at it. We did not buy the extended warranty, but when we told them the check engine light came on less than 100 feet from the lot, they said they would take a look at it and fix the issue for us. They did tell us what was wrong, but they did not honor fixing it. I get it, we didn't purchase the warranty for that, so they're under no obligation to address the issue, but it would have been helpful if they didn't make false promises that made us miss work to drop off the car and pick it up. We did not have the financing information to pay our car note until the day before the first payment was due. Again, we had to miss work to go to the bank to sort that out and not be marked as a late payment. We called, we emailed, and we went by in person, and the lack of communication was staggering. They told us our loan had not been finalized the night they gave us the car and that caused the delay in paperwork. That, however, did not explain the complete lack of communication or updates on the situation. It was a huge hassle.

Very long story, I'll try to stick the main points. - Bought a truck from Greenway Ford. 2019 F150.- They sold me the truck with a known moisture issue on the interior. They didn't tell me about the issue. I know they knew about the issue because they asked me to come back a few weeks later to get the part to fix the issue I didn't know the truck had..at the time, truck was running fine, maybe just a little bit of a weird smell when the AC first comes on. - I bring the truck back for the part..mad because they didn't tell me, but was no charge. Just the hassle of finding time to drop the truck off, get a rental. Return the rental etc. - Fast forward, the truck won't start one day. Can't be jumped..completely dead.- Fast forward even more, find out the whole computer is fried. They charge me approx $1700 for the fix.- I say that this most certainly is from the previous moisture issue that you sold me the truck with. The technician actually writes in his report the same thing and actually told me my face they should not have sold this truck before that issue was fixed. - * Also signed for the highest level of warranty offered. Platinum Warranty. They tell its not covered under the warranty. On the hook for the full amount. Absolutely upset, but no one really listening to me. Pay the amount and get the truck back. Get a review from them to review the experience etc..0's all around obviously. Ron From Greenway calls to smooth things over. Understanding they probably messed up. Took a week or so but called me back and say they can issue a check for what was approx a 60% refund. Seemed like an arbitrary number..thank him but still state I don't think we should owe anything. Your own technician wrote in his report this issue was stemming from the problem you the truck had previous to the sale. Without argument and immediately after, he offers the full refund outside of the $100 deductible. Magically its covered under the warranty now? He states they can't issue the check until I redo the survey and would really appreciate 5/5's all around. I said I need the check in hand or atleast in writing that I'm getting it no matter what. And he tagged the GM and others and sent the email with the stated amount coming in the refund. Said we would have it in 10 business days or less via mail. 20ish business days later, no check. Furious, I email back on the same thread the promose was made with the higher ups. Got some excuse that the accounting person that writes those checks has been out. Also thru aren't sending the check anymore but I can drive out there to get it. My wife was going into labor at that point so I had my mother in law pick it up. Just not on my mind for a few days because of the excitement of the new baby. Open the check and it's approx $6 and change short. I get not a huge deal, but just the principle at that point. I call them out on the short check and the GM apologizes again an offers to send us a $20 zelle or cash up the error again. It's been about a week and no $20 Payment. Not that it would fix anything at this point. But a futher acknowledgement of thier ineptitude. Avoid Ford Greenway at all costs.

I’m really disappointed. My husband and I purchased a new car here in 2018 and had the best experience so we came back today with high expectations. We were “at the table” talking about price and they came back with an ‘out the door price’ of 39k. So we countered at 35k and after waiting 20 minutes (we were the only customers there) they came back at 44k. ??? It went UP 5k? What?I hate playing games with car dealerships. I get so much anxiety with the back and forth and running numbers…. JUST GIVE ME A PRICE in a reasonable amount of time.I will say our salesman was extremely nice and went out of his way to try to keep the deal together. It’s very disappointing we easily could have made a deal but it feels disrespectful and shady to play those kinds of games. Honestly I probably would have paid the $39 had they come back with that. But I think they wanted us in a different vehicle.

Dishonest all around. Was sold a truck that had a moisture issue on the interior. They did not tell me about it prior to the sale. Few weeks later, I get a call from them that the part needed is in and I can make an appointment with them to come back for them to put the part in. Very confused, because I was not aware the truck needed a part..obviously they did or they wouldn't have ordered it. Fast forward, the truck doesn't start one day. Can't jump it or anything. Turns out the moisture issue got into some electrical components and ruined them. Me explaining the the situation multiple times, they don't listen and hit me with a $1600 approx bill for the fix. It gets better. After I leave a 0/5 review for the issue and some haggling, they agree to a full refund outside of $100 deductible. Fine. Not great. But ok.. was promised a check in the mail in 10 business days. Never came and had to go pick the check up. Some stupid excuse about someone being out of the office and it got missed somehow..oh, and check was approx $6 less than the promised about. I get it. Not a big deal. Just a principle thing at that point. There's enough Ford places in central Fl. I'd avoid Greenway Ford on Colonial at all costs.

Michael Jubran made the car buying process so easy for us. We visited many dealerships and left frustrated every time. It was my first time financing a car so I brought my parents for support, Michael respected that I was the one purchasing the car and came to the table to talk to me, not my parents. A small detail, but just an example of the amazing and comfortable experience Michael gave us compared to every other dealer we saw that day. I am extremely happy we decided to stop in. My husband and parents will be returning when they need a car.

Bad experience in the entirety. Didn't get the payment I wanted.Finance dept said he could do 45 days and them switched his words to say he can't set to 45 days and stopped texting me back. Emphasized a specific part to the front bumper and rear bumper which needed to be fixed salesman and finance person said its minor. Once got my car back wasn't done so I left it 2 days only for the salesman to tell me as is..don't say you can do something and do something else I will be posting my experience elsewhere where reviews can be seen as well.. do good business and you would get return customers but I will not be coming back. Also the tint was suppose to be all stripped they left rear window still tinted.. Bad for business.

I do not recommend coming to their service department. First they quoted me an hour to 90 minutes to do an oil change. Three and a half hours later they come out saying they found the battery was bad and needs to be replaced, that it would be 20 minutes. An hour and a half later I see the car pull up to the drive finished. Wait 20 minutes for the advisor to finish the paperwork, finally give up and go seek her out, gives me an excuse of I've been busy. Walk out to the car and find a wire hanging that was not there before. Instead of taking responsibility to fix it, they say is it aftermarket and you'll have to now wait for the guy who replaced the battery to come back from lunch.. hour later and the car still hasn't moved. Total expected time 90 minutes, been here now 360 minutes and it's no end in sight.

Going to the dealership for anything can be quite a hassle and I was prepared for one. To my pleasant surprise, it went perfectly. I had a couple of recalls on my car and they made me aware of them when I called for a separate repair. They scheduled me an appointment quickly and were flexible with their allotted time slots as I have work most days. They worked well with my schedule and sent me a reminder text with the date, time, and location. Arriving at my 10 am appointment, it only took me about 5 minutes to drive up, give them my keys, and be on my merry way. Robert(Robbie) kept me updated frequently via text and I was aware of the process every step of the way. He was very attentive, professional, and polite. He called me to tell me he had to order some parts so they kept it over night. I came in the next morning to wait for my car and noticed the complimentary coffee and of course I had to oblige. As I walked up to the coffee pot it was being used for its last swig. I accepted my defeat while returning to my seat when an associate noticed. He acknowledged me and assured me that a new pot will be made stat and it was. Thank you, dude! Enjoying my freshly brewed cup of coffee on the comfy waiting room couches took the edge off of running a car errand. I received my text that my car was ready for me and they sent me on my way. Thanks, Ford and Robbie!

I would definitely recommend Greenway Ford. Faysal (sales) made my car buying experience painless and so easy . He gave detailed options and let me test drive whatever car /suv we wanted so we could make a conscious decision on a vehicle that fit our criteria. He made us laugh and was so personable. Never pushed us . We definitely didn’t feel like we were dealing with a salesperson, but a true to his word guy who could relate to us on so many levels . Thank you Faysal. And Josh (finance manager) Thank you for staying past closing & pushing at the very end - not yo mention keeping the numbers the same & pushing to get us into the car we truly wanted . We appreciate you .

I worked with Gaylord Lawrence on my purchase and I am so happy! No high pressure sales, down to earth discussion, choose what you want to as part of your purchase. The most dreaded thing is buying a car!! The experience I had with Gaylord was 5 star! I highly recommend him!! I will use him in the future! If you need a car- go see Gaylord Lawrence! I had a 5/5 experience.

This was my first car buying experience due to bad credit in the past so I wasn’t sure I would be able to get financing. But from the moment I walked in and greeted by the front desk lady and my sales person Alejandro, I was able to be a little more comfortable. By the time I left, with car and keys at hand, I felt like Alejandro was family. His experience and advice was absolutely amazing and Josh in financing was very helpful as well. I not only recommend greenway ford, I will be a repeat customer in the future. Extremely grateful.

I was looking to upgrade my 2017 F-150 due to the amount of miles on my truck. And the staff at the Greenway Ford listen to my needs and we’re able to select a truck for me that is exactly what I was looking for. The sales rep. was very knowledgeable about the specs on the vehicle and was determined to get me what I was looking for no matter how long it took. I would definitely recommend Ford to all my friends and family.

Edit to include the solution. After spending a few weeks looking for the perfect truck, and best all around deal, we ended up at Greenway Ford. The financing was not as great as I would have liked but felt we made a fair deal. After leaving and prior to making it home I have warning on my dash. Called and was told that it’s a simple sensor and would have it corrected when I come to get the trucks 2nd key made. Trying to stay positive about the situation I wait for Tuesday and every excuse but no key guy and more excuses. Now here I am another Tue, and the manager accuses me of vandalizing/destroying property after Saying I had to leave and was trespassed from property. Terra’s Hordge came to assist and let’s just say never put the accusations to rest but allowed the men who made these statements against my character to stay grouped up and speaking now in Spanish about me. So extremely unprofessional especially when they wanted to change my mind about the experience and left me outside in the heat for another hour while getting a rental which was supposed to be a truck, and gave me a Ford escape with bad grinding sounds.Would love to hear from you and hope to find a resolution. A very upset and disappointed return customer.Jacquelyn Smith and Phillip HughesUnfortunately I was not given an answer for the ABS, Low tire pressure sensor when I have these tires filled with nitrogen to help maintain the pressure in the tire. I was returned a truck on slap empty. My truck didn’t even register any miles till I was going to run out. Never heard back from Teresa, Osama my salesman, nor the men who accused me of vandalism. In fact let’s just say I will tell everyone not to go to Greenway Ford as theyWill lie, and treat you like a criminal because they are walking around with a guilty conscience. If you want a vehicle that will be in the shop and come back with the exact same issue and get no response. Is that even a solution?

On 28JUL2023, I stopped into Greenway Fords service concerning my Dodge Ram 2500. This was my first time ever at this dealership for service of my brand-used vehicle, that i've had for a few months. I requested service for three recalls and to have my left mirror looked at. One of the recalls was related to tailgate mis-alignment. The leftmost small mirror was a little wobbly, but worked, so I asked them to look into replacing it. I was told this would be 150$. I returned to your service center on 29JUL2023. Before signing the paperwork, I asked to look at my tailgate functioning. The remote tailgate drop did not drop the tailgate. It did not open manually either. Basically, the tailgate recall issue was not looked at. I asked them to look at it again. I waited in the service center until it was looked at and resolved.Unfortunately, they removed the left most mirror from my truck. When I was asked if I could get it back, they said “No, i’m sorry, we threw it out”. They would not return the mirror from my truck that they removed from the vehicle. It was a perfectly good, non-damaged mirror. I now have a truck that has no small left mirror, when before I had one that worked fine. It wasn't damaged in any way, outside of the attachment point being just a bit loose.I have 0 confidence that any real service work was done for any of the recall issues and i'm astonished / dumbfounded that they would not return my mirror to me.

Frustrating Experience at Greenway Ford - Inaccurate Repairs and Poor Customer ServiceI have been a loyal customer of Greenway Ford for the past 14 years, having purchased 7 cars from them, including my Mustang Ecoboost convertible from 2016. However, my recent experience with their service has been incredibly disappointing. In April 2023, I took my car in for a routine oil change and to address a non-functional air conditioner. What followed was a series of unfortunate events that left me frustrated and dissatisfied. The initial repair cost was sky-high at $4,250, which I managed to negotiate down to $2,100.Barely two months later, the air conditioner started making a loud noise. I returned for a diagnostic appointment, which was supposed to take 2 hours but stretched to over 7 hours. The proposed repair cost was a staggering $3,736.47, eventually lowered to $3,500. This raised serious doubts as it seemed unreasonable that the same issue resurfaced so soon after the initial repair.Furthermore, the lack of professionalism and confusion at the service center was disappointing. To add to the frustration, the General Manager, Theresa Hordge, demanded a diagnostic fee of $211 just to release my car to me without any repairs done. This was after I refused their costly repair proposal due to the suspiciously quick recurrence of the problem.Seeking a second opinion, I consulted an experienced mechanic specialized in air conditioning systems. To my astonishment, they discovered that the previous repair by Greenway Ford had led to overfilling the refrigerant gas, causing damage to the compressor. The replacement parts cost, according to Ford's own list, was marked up exorbitantly, well over 100%.I attempted to address the issue and requested reimbursement for the damage, as it was a deliberate error rather than an incompetence issue, given that the car's proper refrigerant amount is clearly labeled on the car trunk. Additionally, I asked for compensation for the repairs needed to fix the damages caused by their initial work. Regrettably, my requests were met with dismissive excuses from Theresa Hordge.I possess extensive evidence, including photographs, videos, invoices, and records of these events. It's unfortunate that a dealership I've trusted for so long has allowed such a disappointing situation to unfold. If you're considering Greenway Ford's services, I advise proceeding with caution and ensuring thorough oversight of any repairs performed. I think they take advantage on us because we a are a foreign couple in the 70 maybe you are not young anymore, but we are educated and no stupid.Ultimately, my experience serves as a reminder to thoroughly vet repair options, maintain detailed documentation, and advocate for fair treatment as a customer.
