I have been a customer of Hand & Stone for a little under a year now. I have officially discovered the gems of the location! Karina gives the BEST facials I've ever had! She is amazing! She is so kind and I truly walk out of there with my skin glowing for days! 10 out of 10 for Karina's facials!! Also, I want to give a shout out to Eileen for the most relaxing massages! She is able to get my knots out and reset me before my job/life stresses me again! lol
Eileen and Karina are VIPs of this location! I hope they never leave!

I booked a facial here for the first time, expecting a soothing and relaxing experience, but it unfortunately fell short.
To begin, my appointment was scheduled for 1:15 pm; I arrived at the suggested 1:00 pm time. Even though I had already completed all forms online days in advance, my service didn’t start until 1:30. That delay set the tone for what followed.
The treatment itself lacked the basics I would normally expect from a proper facial. There was no steam session to open pores, which is a standard step that helps the skin feel cleaner and prepares it for extractions. When the esthetician attempted to extract my nose area, she stopped immediately, saying my skin turned red. Realistically, everyone’s skin reacts with some redness during extractions, so skipping them entirely left the facial feeling incomplete.
I also asked for a quiet, calming session, but the esthetician talked throughout the service, which removed any sense of relaxation. The entire facial lasted about 30 minutes, and without steam, thorough extractions, or a calming atmosphere, it felt rushed and basic- I basically paid $130+ for someone to apply a few products quickly.
While the products themselves seemed fine, the overall experience was disappointing. The focus felt more on pushing memberships than delivering a quality service. My suggestion to management: if the service itself is excellent, people will naturally want to come back and consider memberships. If the service feels incomplete and impersonal, no one will want to commit to a subscription.
This was honestly one of the most underwhelming facials I’ve had. No steam, no relaxation, no thorough care—just a rushed session of applying some facial creams that did not warrant the price. If you are looking for a truly relaxing, effective facial, this may not be the right place.

Great experience. I come here to relax and release the tension/stress that builds up in my shoulders and neck. Zereena is amazing. She applies medium to firm pressure and really pays attention to my areas of concern. Ilene is really great for deep tissue. Packages are worth it. Even if you don't go frequently, they roll over and you can use them when really needed.

This is just like every other massage place turning and burning through customers. My husband was quoted $80 per massage. I paid while he was still getting his and was charged $140 per massage. When I called to ask, they said that is the member or first time massage rate. My husband was told since it has been so many years since we have been, we would be given the introductory rate. Aside from the cost, the massage was just okay. Nothing special for either of us. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend due to the deceiving cost approach and average massage.

I just had an amazing facial with Ray Close, and I honestly couldn’t be happier! This was my second time seeing him, and just like the first time, the experience was absolutely top-notch. Ray is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and attentive—he made me feel relaxed and pampered from start to finish. My skin feels refreshed, glowing, and so smooth. I genuinely love the care and detail he puts into every step. I can’t wait to book my next appointment—thank you, Ray!

I’m literally so upset right now. I’ve been getting massages here with Sheena for over two years. I just found out she is no longer with the establishment! And there goes my membership! I only went because she gave the best massages! I only wish I knew where she went because I would definitely follow her. Today is a sad day🥲

I received a gift card, called and had no problems getting a massage the very next day with Anthony. He was amazing! I felt so good after my session with him that I opted for a membership! I've gone to other spas in the past, but I was so impressed with Anthony. He is the reason I will go back again and again. If you are thinking about going to the Waterford Lakes location, ask for Anthony!

Messages are good, business practices are terrible. I tried to cancel my membership and every time I called they told me the manager was out until my next billing cycle. They did this so they can charge me an extra month. Go an ask them in the office and they won’t say anything about that but once you sign that contract all those fees come out.

I started seeing Ray in January and he has helped me transform my skin! Not only is he super kind and genuine, but he makes sure your comfortable through the whole service. He is very knowledgeable on the products and really works with you to form a good routine that will work for you. He is the best!

WORD OF CAUTION!!!. They will keep charging you for membership even if you physically visit the office and ask to cancel - they won’t let you. They want you to speak to the manager first (in my case they made me go home and wait for a phone call). The manager will make you an offer to put the account on hold but they never do - they will keep charging you. So even if you TRY to cancel in person, over the phone, or via email - they will trap you! BE VERY CAREFUL!! Very sad way to run a business.

Don't bother buying a membership here. You only get one service per month, and they rave about the perks even though there are barely any! Very disappointed. It was a major waste of time and money.

Delightfully relaxing and therapeutic massage by Shenna. She was professional and caring. Highly recommended her.
